15 On Penguin Guest House is only minutes away from the Cape Point Nature Reserve where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet and The Boulders Beach, home to the large colony of African, Jackass Penguins.

Set along the green Glen Marine mountain slopes, Simons Town, overlooking beautiful Simons Bay and False Bay, you will find us.

Activities:

Swimming beaches, shops and restaurants are with close proximity to the guest house.  Day excursions with a qualified guide can be arranged on request.  Fishing, diving, whale watching boat cruises, kayaking, shark cage diving, etc. can be booked through the guest house during office hours. 

Within an hours drive are safe swimming beaches and all the sightseeing attractions being Cape Point, Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Table Mountain, V&A Waterfront, the Winelands and more.

Clothing and Accessories:

Cape Town is known to have “4 seasons in one day”!!  Always have your swimming gear, hat, sunscreen, warm jacket and a raincoat/umbrella. 

Health and Climate:

Doctors rooms and hospitals are within 15 drive from the guest house.

We have winter rainfall, but rain can be expected occassionally in the summer.

Cancellation Policy:

- A refund of 50% will be considered before 30 days of booking date.
- No refund up to 1 (one) month before booking date.

Terms and Conditions

  • No pets allowed
  • No smoking in the guest house
  • No noise permitted after 9pm or before 6am
  • Children to be supervised by their parents at all times

Directions:

From the airport take the N2 towards Cape Town then turn off onto M5 towards Muizenberg.  Follow boards towards Simons Town, then take the scatch patch turnoff to the right into Dido Valley road, then next turnoff to right is Penguin Drive, stop at number 15 your home from home.
