For our budget traveler, we have en-suite rooms each with a king-size or twin bed and shower in the bathroom. The rooms have DSTV, WIFI and coffee/tea facilities for your convenience. No worries about privacy - it has its own entrance from the outside. Sleeps 2. Breakfast included.
Suites
For the frequent traveler who requires more space & luxury our suites would be the perfect option. This option offers you a comfortable lounge, kitchen and outside BBQ area, with an additional television and dstv to enjoy watching your favorite game while having some succulent meat on the braai. Sleeps 2 or 3. Breakfast included.
Family Suites
Perfect for small families and groups, these luxury suites each have 2 en-suite bedrooms, each with a king-size bed or twin beds, DSTV and a walk-in shower. This could be joined together by an open lounge and kitchen also with DSTV. The sliding door opens to the balcony where you will find BBQ facilities - the beautiful views of the Outeniqua Mountain is just our bonus we give to you. Sleeps 3 - 8. Breakfast on request.

Beaches - If you would like to go to the beach, our local bay - Victoria Bay - is definitely the best! On any coast line in the world, I dare you to find a swimming beach that can equal the beauty, swimming and surfing qualities of Vic Bay! With only a few houses, it is a non-commercial beach and weather wise... the best of the best! Green grass to lie on, whales in season, dolphins year round, excellent surf - a definite must!
In and Around George:
Visit the Outeniqua Transport Museum and the Outeniqua Power Van takes you up the Outeniqua Mountain and halfway up Cradock Peak where you can enjoy your picnic in the wild.
Do some church hopping and visit the:
Dutch Reformed Church possesses some of the most stunning architecture in George. The pulpit is magnificent and made of Stinkwood. The roof, floor and benches are of Yellowwood.
Visit the Congregational Church in Pacaltsdorp - built by the interesting Reverent Pacalt in the 1800's and stop at the Anglican Church in York Street with its beautiful and historic windows.
Outeniqua Hop is a route through our scenic farmlands, where you can visit a strawberry farm, see how they make cheese or visit the breweries, visit a dairy farm and see how a computerized dairy organize the cows for milking or artificial insemination!
George is in the centre of all activities in the Garden Route! To travel from here is quite easy.
To the west is Mossel Bay:
You may want to dare yourself and go shark cage diving, bungee jumping or sea life on Seal Island. On your way home stop for a game drive or swim at the Herolds Bay.
To the north is Oudtshoorn:
Here you should visit the world famous Cango Caves, ride an ostrich, but definitely not a croc on the other farm. Stunning mountain passes all around you.
To the east is Wilderness and Knysna:
You can indulge yourself in extreme sport like paragliding or abseiling. Wonderful trails for hikers next to the lagoon, the river, forest or sea where you can kayak, canoe or just enjoy the outdoors. Do your shopping in Knysna at The Waterfront, head home back to George and come and enjoy your evenings at 17 On Wellington Suites.

Cancellation Policy:
- Ours is a fairly simple policy, but we ask you as our guest's to keep in mind that once a room is booked it is no longer available to sell online.
- Our normal refund policy: Full refund if cancellation occurs 24 hours before reservation date.
- However for large bookings (3 or more rooms) or peak holidays (Dec, Easter and special events) - refunds will be given once rooms are rented out again. - All cancellations must be in writing.

From the airport, follow the sign posts to George. When entering George at the traffic circle, take first exit left onto York Street. Drive approx. 3km through town, to another traffic circle, take second exit or follow the sign to Knysna via Courtenay Street. Turn left at second traffic light; Wellington Street. From the west on the N2, take the George, York Street exit of the N2. Turn left at the stop to drive into town (will become York. Street) Approx. 5km through the town you will drive around a circle, take the second exit or follow the sign to Knysna via Courtenay Street. Turn left at second traffic light; Wellington Street. From the east on the N2, take the first George exit to the right of the N2. Travel into town and after you have driven over the rail road bridge, you will pass Mitchell Str on your right (KFC), the next traffic light will be Wellington Street. Turn right onto Wellington.
