Abalone Guest Lodge is 4 Star, part of the Shell Lodges collection and is situated at Sievers Point in Hermanus. Sievers Point is considered to be the best land based whale watching area in Hermanus. It is midway between the town centre and the blue flag swimming beaches of Hermanus and abuts onto the cliff path with a green belt of Fynbos connecting the lodge and Sievers Point. The Fynbos green belt attracts a vast variety of birds.
