Afrikhaya Guest House is located in the North-Eastern part of South Africa on the Elephant Coast in the picturesque village of St.Lucia, which is situated between the warm Indian Ocean and the St.Lucia Estuary.
Only a 2 hours drive North of Durban into beautiful KwaZulu-Natal you can explore the beauty of the formerly Greater St.Lucia Wetland Park, a in 1999 by UNESCO proclaimed Natural World Heritage Site and renamed in iSimangaliso Wetland Park.
The B&B is situated in a tropical garden with sparkling swimming pool and the style is Afro-contemporary. Guests privacy, comfort, cleanliness and warm hospitality is what we offer.
Because of our strategic position you can use St.Lucia as a gateway to the Wetland Park and the world famous Hluhluwe / iMfolozi Game Reserve, home to the Big 5.
We are blessed with a subtropical climate that ensures good weather all year round and the area is malaria free.

Our upmarket and stylish African contemporary home has five spacious bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, each with its own private entrance and patio.
The rooms are elegantly furnished and fitted with comfortable XL boxspring beds, air conditioner, ceiling fan, safe, a bar fridge, hair dryer and coffee and tea making facilities for your convenience.
The accommodation has a lush tropical garden where horn bills, sunbirds, squirrels, monkeys, chameleons and bush babies are just a small variety of the many visitors.

From south (Durban):
-Take N2 north direction Pongola. After app. 250km take turn of to the right Mtubatuba, St.Lucia ( R618 ).
-Turn left at the T junction and take the second to the right and follow this road for 25km and you will arrive into St.Lucia.
-Go left and right into Beach Road, take the second to the right, Kingfisher Street and the second to the left into Kabeljou Ave.
-N2 from the north - 50km past Hluhluwe turn left direction Mtubatuba, t.Lucia (R 618) In Mtubatuba turn left and follow this road for 25km into St.Lucia.
-In St.Lucia turn left and right into Beach Road, second to the right, Kingfisher Street and the second to the left into Kabeljou Ave.
