Our Sailor’s Suite offers a spacious apartment style living for up to 4 guests in one large family suite. Home away from home comfort, beautiful attention to detail decor, luxury bedding, electric under blankets for the chilly winter nights, soft fluffy blankets, towels and guest robes, and all the little extra luxuries guests love. Large sliding windows with ocean views, sounds of crashing waves and sweet chirping of bird life. A well equipped kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, stove and oven. Complimentary tea and coffee tray with delicious home made cookies. The spacious open plan living area offers a comfortable lounge, large flat screen television with a full DSTV viewing, DVD player, variety of movies, board games, novels and magazines. Snacks and refreshments based on an honesty system. From the living area a boastful view onto our beautiful, lush and well manicured garden, patio and braai area with a spectacular ocean view.
Our Captain’s Suite offers honeymooners, business travelers and couples a private, cosy, spacious en suite studio style living. A small private patio and entrance, large sliding windows with a boastful view of our beautiful, lush and manicured garden and stunning ocean view and awesome sounds of the roaring waves. A luxurious queen size extra length mahogany sleigh bed, with luxurious linens, beautiful stylish modern decor, soft fluffy towels and robes, with the little extra luxuries and toiletries. A comfortable cosy seating area, a large flat screen television with full DSTV satellite viewing, bar fridge with refreshments and snacks based on an honesty system. A microwave, toaster, crockery and cutlery for two guests. Complimentary tea and coffee tray with delicious home made cookies (does not have a full kitchen for cooking).
Our guest home is along the magnificent Garden route in the Western Cape. With a 9km stretch of pristine beaches, luscious greenery with an estuary of beautiful bird life. The little town of Groot Brak boasts years of interesting history, friendly people, quaint coffee & gift shops, wonderful restaurants, local pubs. Guests can experience the interesting museums, cultures of the local people, visit the Wolwadans dam, canoe along the lagoon. great picnic & fishing spots.

The area of Groot Brak and surrounding areas are pristine and absolutely beautiful. With pearly white beaches and turquoise ocean. There are great picnic areas and fishing spots. Hiking trails, Walking history tours, safari game viewing, day spas, great coffee shops and restaurants, local pubs, fine dining take away and local supermarkets.
Mossel bay being 25 kms away, a small town with an interesting history, museums with wonderful artifacts. Here you can enjoy family fun parks, surfing, shark cage diving, sunset cruises, boat rides to seal island, indoor heated pools, mini golf, many local and popular restaurants, and shopping at the two main malls.
A 22km drive east takes you into George, where you can shop till you drop, eat at many fine restaurants, visit the Redberry strawberry farm, the Outenique family saturday market, The beautiful Botanical gardens, art museums and places of history.
Our summers are warm to hot. our hottest months are from Dec to March. our winters are mild during the day with a real winter chill in the evenings. When visiting the lagoon & estuary its always advisable to use a insect repellent specially in summer. always have a jacket in the car, weather can change quickly.

A cosy lounge with large sliding windows, boasting a stunning ocean & garden view, An with executive work station, full DSTV viewing, WiFi. The entrance into the Captain’s suite boasts large double opening doors into the beautifully manicured garden. A comfy seating & dining area. A gorgeous kitchenette with a small fridge, microwave, 2 plate gas hob, complimentary tea & coffee, & filter coffee machine. Braai facility available. Our Sailors Suite is modern, luxurious & spacious with an en suite bathroom. Stylishly decorated with all the personal touches for a home away from home experience. A king size bed and an option of 1 or 2 single beds, depending on guests requirements. This is ideal for a family sharing one large bedroom. This suite has a full and very well equipped kitchen, a large fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob, eye level oven, convection microwave, The kitchen overlooks a spacious and open plan living room, which looks onto our beautiful garden with built in braai and patio with stunning ocean views, the living area has a large screen TV, full DSTV package, novels, board games, DVD’s and a DVD player. and with all the luxuries for a home away from home experience. Our Sailor’s suite can sleep up to 4 guests in the large family bedroom. However if there is a larger family the Captain’s suite can be booked out together with this suite, offering accommodation for 6 guests in total.
On the N2 from Cape Town, take the Groot Brak turn off. turn right off the highway, then at the traffic circle turn left, pass the petrol station and local Spar, over the bridge, then first left into Morrison road. travel roughly 6km then turn left into Eekhoring street, follow road till you see our WELCOME board.
