Villa Fig is a SMOKE FREE establishment. In consideration of other guests please smoke outdoors, away from house windows and open doors. Transgressions will incur a minimum R.500.00. fine, depending on the nature of the Transgression.
CHECK IN / OUT:
* Check in time, is between 14.00 pm and 17:30 pm. Check out time is 10.00 am on day of departure.
* Early Departure and Check-Ins. Please let reception know should you require an early check-in. This may not always be possible, but you can drop off luggage at reception and come back later. For early departure, please ensure that your additional account is settled the day before your early check-out.
* Late Check-out. Additional cost will be incurred if late checkout is available.
* Settlement. Full settlement is required at time of check-in. We accept cash, Master, Visa and Amex credit card.
BEVERAGES, TEA & COFFEE:
* Tea, coffee and biscuits are available complementary in the breakfast room for resident guests. Visitors of guests will be charge for tea or coffee, on an honesty basis to be settled by resident guest.
* The beverage honesty fridge is stocked with beer, cola and water for your consumption. Please keep a record of drinks consumed for settlement. Prices displayed at the drinks fridge in the kitchen.
BREAKFAST:
* Rooms are booked on a room only basis. A complimentary light Continental breakfast is available Monday to Friday in the breakfast room.
* A cooked breakfast can be ordered by prior arrangement in advance. Breakfast is available from 07.30.am to 09.00 am, Monday to Friday, (excluding public holidays) unless otherwise arranged in advance.
FOOD PREP AND MEALS:
Light meals and snacks can be prepared in our downstairs kitchen. The microwave, kettle, crockery and cutlery are available for your convenience. Please consume food at the breakfast table or at the outdoor tables. Food is not to be consumed on the beds, couches and upholstered furniture.
PARKING:
* Please be sure not to park other guests in. There is overflow parking at bottom of driveway near the street gate. Visitors of guests are please to use street parking.
* Please drive slowly on the driveway, as there may be small children and animals (cats & dogs) crossing.
TAXI’S / UBER and take out food for delivery:
Please ensure to include street address, 6 Glendyrr Walk, Barbarossa, Constantia, and your return mobile number, when ordering food or transport. Please meet all deliveries at the street gate. Recommended taxi and car hire service is Vineyard Car Hire 0827707324.
SECURITY:
Although the property is secure, we advise guests not to leave valuables lying around or out in the open. Please make use of the room safe for your valuables and lock up your room when you leave the room or the property. Please ensure that the front entrance doors are locked and secure after 10pm.
SERVICING:
We offer basic room housekeeping Monday to Friday and we can arrange for Saturday and Sunday housekeeping on request at an additional cost. Towels are changed every 3 days and bed linen once a week.

VISITORS OF GUESTS:
* Guest house facilities, including upstairs bedrooms, self-cater units, the pool area, are for the exclusive use of paying guests.
* Friends and family or colleagues of resident guests can be met downstairs at reception area for pick- up, drop-off and short visits. A maximum of 3 visitors are permitted between 11h00 and 20h00.
* Visitors must consider the privacy and tranquillity for the resident paying guests. No extended visits or entertainment of non- residents is allowed.
* SOCIAL; After 9.00 pm (21:00hr) noise should be kept down to a minimum in consideration of other guests who may have retired. Music is not permitted at Villa Fig in consideration of the other guests.
POOL:
Swimming is allowed between 07.00.am and 08.00.pm only. Please ensure that the pool gate is kept latched at all times, as there are sometimes young children on the property. Children under 12 yrs old and/or children or who cannot swim must to be supervised at all times by an adult. Parents must ensure that children do not disturb other guests and adhere to posted pool rules. The automatic pool vacuum cleaner must stay submerged in pool at all times.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
* Bedroom and/or garden facilities and amenities including furniture, linen towels, cushions, crockery, cutlery or any other item, etc. are not to be taken off the property.
* No Pets, No Parties, No smoking. Only paying guests have full access to the property. No music, no cooking in the main house kitchen other than by Microwave. Fridge, crockery & cutlery and kettle are for prep of light snacks.
* Between 21h00 and 07h00 quietness must be maintained on the entire property.
* Mosquito management- Please make use of the mosquito plug in management units supplied in rooms. If you need additional insert pads, or unsure how to operate, please let us know.
* At Villa Fig and its owners reserve the right to addition onto the premises.
* ACCESS GATE; Do not open street gate to any person that you do not know or are personally expecting.

1. Exit Cape Town airport and get onto N2 highway (south) to Cape Town. Go about 10kms. and take M3 (south) to Muizenburg, not M5 to Muizenburg.
2. Go about 9kms. South towards Muizenburg. Take the M41 exit (Houtbay, Constantia, Plumstead. At end of off ramp turn left and go through two traffic light crossings, at the third traffic lights turn left onto M42,then left again at the next lights.
3. This is Doordrift road, now cross the bridge and pass the first street on left immediately after bridge then turn left again into Brink road at the bend in the road, now take the first right into Glendyrr walk.
