Cancellation Policy:
If cancelling 7 days before arrival, forfeit 100% of the deposit. If cancelling 15 days before arrival, forfeit 50% of the deposit. If cancelling 30 days before arrival, forfeit 25% of the deposit. If cancelling 31 days before arrival, forfeit R100.00.

Please note that ATKV Resorts are family orientated resorts with small children visiting; so no loud noise or parties are allowed. Silence is enforced from 22h00 – 07h00 for the comfort of all our guests. No music is permitted at the resort from motor vehicles or private sound systems / equipment. Please note that you have to be 18, to make a Reservation with ATKV Resorts.
By paying you confirm that:
Your dates and accommodation/camping type(s) are correct.
Please note, when booking a campsite, that this is just a piece of land that you are renting from us, we offer electricity and shared ablution facilities, but you have to bring your own tent on caravan. No accommodation, beds, cutlery or crockery is included.
You will adhere to all terms and conditions as well as the resort rules.
Accepted credit/debit card payments: VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club International.
Payments will be made through PayBridge, a secure online payment gateway.
The reference on your credit/debit card statement will say ‘PayBridge Accommodation’ and not ATKV Klein-Kariba.
ATKV Klein-Kariba reserve the right to not refund credit/debit card fees (transaction costs) in the case of any cancellation or situation where funds need to be reversed back to a credit/debit card or any nominated bank account via EFT (electronic fund transfer).
For payments not authenticated by 3D Secure:
The credit/debit card used for the online payment will be requested upon check-in.
The credit/debit card holder must be present at check-in and will be requested to be identified by ID/Passport.
Should the credit/debit card holder not be present, a letter of authority and a copy of their ID/Passport and the guest checking in will be required.
The PayBridge slip will also be required to be signed.

BOOKINGS
Rates include 15% VAT and are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR).
Rates may be changed without prior notice.
Upon arrival you will be:
Required to complete and sign the resort’s indemnity form.
Issued with a vehicle permit.
Paying for extra charges (also payable in advance, see BANKING DETAILS below):
Group bookings apply when six or more accommodation units/camp stands are booked. Additional deposits may apply for group bookings and also if additional space is required for dining.
No group gatherings are allowed between units/camp stands, groups must book a lapa (subject to availability).
Most of our units are not able to accommodate additional people due to space constraints; should you have a query around this, please contact reception. The cost for an extra adult is R160 per night and R85 per night for an extra child under 12. No extra cost for a child under 3.
Bookings allow for one vehicle per accommodation unit/camp stand. Extra vehicles @ R80 per night.
Rates are valid until 28 February 2025, after-which there will be a price increase.
Due to escalating incidents of fraudulent electronic fund transfers (EFT), we require that EFT payments are made at least two days prior to arrival.
In the event that your payment does not reflect in Klein-Kariba’s bank account upon arrival, we will require you to pay the outstanding amount.
The necessary refund will occur if and when the payment does reflect in Klein-Kariba’s bank account.
No keys or permits will be issued until the full account has been settled. Cheque payments are not accepted.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Check-in time for accommodation units and camp stands is from 14:00. Check-out time is 10:00 for accommodation units and 13:00 for camp stands.
The carrying and use of firearms and/or dangerous weapons are not permitted on any of the ATKV’s premises.
Clients/visitors are responsible for reporting possession of firearms on the ATKV’s premises.
Smoking in accommodation units are strictly prohibited. Please be advised that we are a family-oriented establishment. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all accommodation units and buildings throughout the property. In accordance with the law, guests may face fines for non-compliance. Should smoking occur within the accommodation units, a R1000 fee will be charged to cover the costs of deep cleaning and any potential loss of income due to the unit’s temporary unavailability. Additionally, the use of “Hookah” or “Hubbly Bubbly” pipes is also not permitted anywhere on the property.
Accommodation units are serviced daily.
Guests using our camping facilities must please bring their own power plug adaptor.
The standard size per camp stand is 7m x 7m.
No pets are allowed, except guide dogs.
If you are expecting visitors during your stay, it has to be arranged at reception during office hours.
Own swimming towels and dishcloths must be provided.
No music is permitted at the resort from motor vehicles or private sound equipment.
Please consider the other guests by keeping noise levels as low as possible.
Silence must be maintained between 23:00 and 07:00.
No motorbikes or ATV four-wheelers are allowed at the resort.
Only accepted swimwear will be allowed.
Please note that during our out of season midweeks, there may be groups at the resort.

From Johannesburg:
Take the N1 freeway north towards Polokwane.
About 40 km after the Carousel Plaza toll gate, take the Bela-Bela/Settlers off-ramp (Exit 238).
Turn left on the bridge.
Follow the Bela-Bela road for approximately 9 km.
Turn right at the T-junction and right again at the first traffic light.
The resort is on the left, approximately 7 km further on the R101 towards Modimolle.
