Berg en Zee is ideally placed in the heart of the picturesque village of Gordon`s Bay. The attractive bay is used as a small-craft harbour, where luxury yachts and cabin cruisers bob in tightly packed lines.
With its many outdoor cafes and restaurants, the Mediterranean atmosphere of Gordon`s Bay is popular with holidaymakers. All of these are a short stroll along the beach from our door.
The white sandy beaches make it a chosen destination for bathing and water sports. Berg en Zee is two minutes` walk from the well-known Bikini Beach, a particular favourite with sunbathers because the harbour wall shelters it from most winds.

All rooms have a private balcony facing north across the ocean in False Bay towards Devils Peak and Table Mountain. The view sweeps through 180 degrees as far as Cape Point and provides a fabulous framework for spectacular sunsets.

Family Rooms
Our three spacious family rooms are all in excess of 30 square metres (excluding the bathroom) and are situated on the lower level of our guesthouse.
All rooms have a queen-sized bed and two three-quarter beds. Each has an en-suite bathroom with a shower above a bath.
Seating is provided both inside the room and on the balcony so that you can enjoy your magnificent view.
Double Rooms
Our three standard double rooms are situated on the second floor and they all include queen size beds and lavish seating areas.
Each has an en-suite bathroom with a shower above a bath.
And for that extra special getaway, we can offer you our honeymoon suite complete with canopied bed and an en suite double shower.
Penthouse Suites
Our two beautiful penthouse suites are located at the very top of the guesthouse with a 360 degree view of the ocean and the mountains. Both suites have a large covered patio with barbecue facilities and an open deck for sunbathing. The en suite bathrooms have a separate bath and shower.
You will also have a kitchenette with fridge, microwave and breakfast bar.

From Cape Town:
Proceed east along the N2 direction Somerset West and after Somerset West proceed on with the N2 direction Grabouw.
Look out for the large signboard with an arrow right to Gordons Bay/Kleinmond (R44). Turn Right.
You are now on a smaller road, the M165s.
Proceed until you reach the main T-junction at Faure Marine Drive, R44, after about 4.5km.
You need to proceed straight OVER the T-junction, as if going into the parking bays in front of the Leapfrog office ahead slightly on your left. Swing left into Watt Street. (The road is not visible from the stop street untill you cross Faure Marine)
Turn immediately right at Van der Byl.
Left at the T juncion at the Sunset Spur.
You are on Beach Road. Proceed to 135 Beach Road.
