The Farmhouse consists of eight luxurious double rooms (6 Luxury and 2 Honeymoon Suites). Seven self-catering Cottages (5 Family and 2 Luxury) are all fitted with lush touches, fully equipped kitchens, private braai (barbeque) facilities, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioning (except Cottage 1). Mountain Manor consists of 14 luxury rooms in 3 separate buildings.

Establishment Facilities:
Situated on one of the largest working ostrich farms, we offer guided meerkat safari and ostrich tours. It is also ideal for birdwatching, hiking and mountain hiking. Hot summer days (more than 300 annually) are spent in the cool waters of one of the 4 sparkling swimming pools on site. Our on-site restaurant is open for breakfast daily (included in the rate), and dinner is available on request (booking essential). Dinner options include a 3-course set menu, or a traditional South African braai (barbeque).
Berluda is situated in the Little Karoo and within easy reach of the world-famous Cango Caves. The world heritage site of the magnificent Swartberg Pass is just a short drive away. Meiringspoort separates the quaint villages of De Rust and Prince Albert. For the adventurous, don’t miss the opportunity to visit Die Hel (Gamkaskloof). *To enjoy the sights and sounds that our valley has to offer to the fullest, we recommend a 3-night stay. Outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and stargazing are some of the many things which we offer in and around Berluda. As Berluda is well known as a family-destination, we cater especially for families with small children. We offer a children’s playground, baby-sitting in the evenings and a safe environment for cycling and walking for the children. Berluda is also a bird-watchers’ paradise, and a walk in the hills behind will give you a glimpse of the beautiful and rare indigenous Karoo vegetation.

- 14 km further, you will find the turn off, left, to Schoemanshoek.
- Turn left, and drive straight ahead towards the church.
- Turn 90 degrees left at church.
- Berluda is 300 meters further on the right on gravel road.
