Blyde River Canyon Lodge is situated along the scenic Panorama Route in the Blyde River Canyon of the Mpumalanga/Limpopo Province. It is easily accessible to the Bourkes Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels, Gods Window and various waterfalls.
The lodge is just a 40-minute drive to the Kruger National Park - Orpen Gate.

The lodge is conveniently situated on the Panorama Route which includes the Three Rondawels, Gods Window, Bourkes Luck Potholes, Berlin Falls and of course the unique Blyde River Canyon, which is considered to be one of the natural wonders of Southern Africa.
From Johannesburg / Pretoria:
Take N4 motorway eastward (direction White River), get off at Belfast.
From there head for Lydenburg (Mashishing) on the R36 via Dullstroom.Beware of potholes between Dullstoom & Lydenburg.
After Lydenburg continue on the R36 in the direction of Tzaneen.
Negotiate the Abel Erasmus Pass (drive carefully!).
Take the R36 to Ohrigstad, Strijdom Tunnel and Abel Erasmus Pass onto the R527 to Hoedspruit and TURN RIGHT on the Driehoek Road.D1809.
If you cross the Blyde River and pass small Excel garage on left you have gone too far. Turn back.
Travel approx 14 kms Turn Right at the t-junction.
Travel for about 500m after which you will turn right into the Blyde River Botanical Reserve and this leads into the Lodge.
From Nelspruit:
Once you are on the R531 toward Hoedspruit, you keep going straight.
You will drive through Klaserie, a small rural settlement and get to a T-junction showing Hoedspruit to the right, Keep going straight.
After about 20 kms you will see a sign for Swadini and Blyde River Canyon Lodge on your left, turn left at Road No D2189.
Travel for about 7 kms after which you will turn right into the Blyde River Botanical Reserve and this leads into the Lodge.
