Breede River Queen

Breede River Queen is a spacious and charming self-catering holiday home on the banks of the Breede River.

This spacious 350m2 double storey house offers the ideal accommodation for friends and family gatherings, adventure and nature-loving groups, international travelers, or corporate groups.

Breede River Queen is 250 km from Cape Town or George, 5 km south of Malgas.  It is also only 25 km away from the Breede river Estuary, the Indian Ocean, the coastal villages: Infanta and Witsand, and De Hoop Nature Reserve (largest South African natural areas and World Heritage Site, with one of the largest marine protected areas in Africa).

Its unique location makes it part of the Lower Breede River Nature Conservancy, known for its rich biodiversity, which is one of the largest and longest navigable rivers in South Africa.

Breede River Queen includes 6 en suite bedrooms plus extra sleeping in the different lounges (bedding included) plus 1 bathroom.  The house has a large swimming pool, an outdoor lappa with braai, a private jetty on the Breede River, DSTV, WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen (with a scullery: dishwasher, washing machine, dryer), a terrace, entertainment area with lounge, bar, billiard table, ping pong, foos ball, games and much more.

Breede River Queen has its own private jetty, giving water lovers access to over 50 km of tidal river.  Perfect for all kinds of water sports: wake boarding, water skiing, canoeing, kayaking, etc.  Fishing is also very popular, as this is arguably the best fishing estuary in South Africa.

This un-spoilt piece of paradise is home to an abundance of bird species and wildlife.  Part of the Cape Floral Kingdom with hundreds of varieties of Fynbos, you can enjoy various nature activities (different following the seasons) like hiking, cycling, bird watching and much more.

Breede River Queen is rented on a self catering basis either in its entirety or per room (depending of the time of the stay).
It accommodates groups up to 12 people. We do welcome groups up to 18 people, thanks to the extra sleeping in the lounges and sunroom.  Larger groups can be hosted in different houses situated in the same village.

Minimum stay: 2 nights. For long stays, we do give our clients some discounts.

The rates includes all Breede River Queen facilities, as well as the bedding for 6 bedrooms, WiFi, DStv, private jetty and much more.
