Bretton Beach Crest consists of 9 comfortably furnished, fully equipped beach cottages, all within 100m of the beach in a natural setting with no busy roads to cross.

All cottages are privately situated, some being closer to the sea and others having better sea views.

Located amongst milkwood trees in the coastal dune forest, bird life abounds with nearly 100 species having been recorded. Grysbok, duiker and bushbuck are rare sighting.

Swimming is safe at the resort, a tidal pool, just in front is wonderful for very young children.

Shell collecting, sand ski-ing, long beach walks and good fishing, sea or river, all contribute to a relaxing beach holiday.

Bretton Beach is situated +- 3km from the Kowie River mouth and the main street of Port Alfred which offers all general shopping facilities, many restaurants, tennis and squash courts, boat hire, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, hiking and canoe trails, horse riding and golf at the beautiful 18 hole Royal Port Alfred Golf Course.

Being in the heart of the Sunshine Coast and Settler Country, sightseeing nearby includes Grahamstown, Bathurst, Bushmans River Mouth, Kenton-on-Sea, Boknes with Dias’ Cross, Kleinemond and the Fish River Golf course all within 60km.

Near malaria free game parks Addo Elephant, Kariega, Pumba, Kwandwe, Lalibela, Shamwari.

Accommodation
Bretton Beach Crest consists of 9 comfortably furnished, fully equipped beach cottages, all within 100m of the beach in a natural setting with no busy roads to cross.

All cottages are privately situated, some being closer to the sea and others having better sea views. The cottages consist of 2 bedrooms (main bedroom with double bed or 2 singles) and second bedroom with a double bunk for children, 2 beds in loungedining room area, kitchen with gas stove and electric double door fridgefreezer, microwave, bathroom has a shower over the bath + a basin, gas geyser, and a separate toilet.

Bed linen is provided but guests are required to bring their own toiletries and bath and kitchen towels.

All cottages have a TV (with SABC channels + a satellite dish so bring your own standard decoder for full dstv), their own braai area + grid as well as monitored security + security gate at entrance.
