Brighton Lodge has 9 tastefully decorated suites, all different in character, each with a coherent decorative theme. Most are graced by genuine and rather lovely antique pieces of one sort or another.
The accent is on untroubled and supremely comfortable privacy. Most suites have walk-in access to a small patio patio area or in our Dining Room.
Your breakfast can be enjoyed in the privacy of your unit. Then in the evening you can enjoy excellent cuisine at one of our many local restaurants which are just a short stroll away.
Laundry facilities, transport to and from the airport, as well as fax and secretarial facilities are available on request.

Beaches - are what makes Port Elizabeth's beaches so special is that Algoa Bay boasts 40 km of magnificent coastline and protected beaches, complemented by a perfect combination of warm water, calm sea and fair breezes.
Included in the 40 km coastline are King's Beach, Hobie Beach, Pollok Beach, Brighton Beach, Bluewater Bay, St George's Strand and Wells Estate. The wide expanses of golden sands are ideal for safe and sheltered swimming, snorkelling, body surfing, yachting, windsurfing, jetskiing, fishing and beautiful beach walks. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer season at all the main beaches.
Wild Life and Game Viewing - A variety of game viewing venues are available within less that an hour's drive of Port Elizabeth. Included in these venues are private game reserves, one of which boasts the "Big Five", in a Malaria-Free environment.
The Addo Elephant National Park, which was proclaimed in order to save the Eastern Cape Elephant and Cape Buffalo from extinction, is now home to over 314 elephants and offers sanctuary to a myriad of birds, the black rhino, numerous antelope species as well as the unique flightless dung beetle.
A game and lion park is situated a mere 18 km from the city centre, which allows for close-up game viewing on 31 hectares of pristine coastal bush.
Situated 2.3km from the main Lodge, this unit has two full bedrooms with a bathroom -shower only. Open plan lounge/dining room/kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped. Breakfast served at the Main Lodge or packed breakfast delivered to unit.
Some units have double beds and some twin beds with en-suite shower (When twin beds are required please let us know). Most rooms have garden patio areas. One room situated upstairs.

Directions from the airport:
Turn right into Alister Miller Road when you leave the Airport - this road takes you into La Roche Drive.
Drive all the way down La Roche Drive and you will come to Beach Road.
Mac Donald's on your right and sea in front of you.
Turn right and drive until you get to 5th Avenue - at 5th Avenue (Marine Hotel on the corner) turn right - you will see Brighton Lodge on the next corner - entrance in 5th Avenue.
