At Buffalo Thorn safari lodge we offer game viewing, game drives, bird watching, hiking, clay pigeon shooting and relaxation at the pool. Buffalo Thorn Safari Lodge is also situated close to the idyllic Bordeaux Game Farm wedding venue. The venue provides a perfect bushveld location for both the wedding ceremony as well as reception on your big day.

- Take a hike! Our hiking trails are guided, and the rangers will give you access to a wealth of knowledge and information that can only be learned after years in the African bush.
- Whose game for golf? That's right! Just because you're in the bush, doesn't mean you don't get to tee off. Leave it with us and we'll organise you a game at the local Sesambos Golf Course, aptly named the jewel of the bushveld on the banks of the mighty Limpopo.
- Do you want to contribute toward local conservation? We can organize day trips to the Seditse Crocodile Ranch which houses over 6000 African Nile Crocodiles. Our area also sports a number of conservation projects that help rescue and rehabilitate animals in need, including the famous Mama Tau White Lion Breeding Project. We have our very own African Cape Buffalo breeding project on the Buffalo Thorn Safari Lodge property. The area is also home to some of South Africa's largest single-stem Baobab trees.
