Our accommodation includes five luxurious air-conditioned bedrooms with king-sized beds, each with its own private patio, garden and fountain. The rooms are furnished in South African Karoo style and graced with a collection of original South African art. Original Oregon wood floors add to the overall elegance of the house. En-suite bathrooms include shower, twin washbasins on Italian granite slabs and outsize baths that invite intimate candle-lit meetings.

Calitzdorp Country House is four hours from Cape Town and halfway to Port Elizabeth,at the gateway to the Garden Route. It is situated in the heart of the Klein Karoo. You can enjoy views across a fertile valley to the majestic Swartberg Mountains.
Other than the 7 awesome passes within close driving distance, you can explore the beautiful Klein Karoo, visit the Cango caves, Ostrich farms, Swartberg Pass & enjoy Wine tasting at our local Vineyards. We are also close to Horse Riding, Canoeing and Fishing facilities.
