Chobe Water Villas

Chobe Water Villas, an exclusive and intimate boutique Lodge is located in Namibia at the eastern tip of the famous Caprivi Strip now known as the Zambezi Region.

The Lodge is exclusively situated in the 150 km2 Namibian Kasika Conservancy directly on the banks of the Chobe River and opposite the renowned Chobe National Park and the safari town of Kasane, in Botswana. This location affords unobstructed views into the National Park and over the world renowned Sedudu Island. This Island boasts the greatest density of wildlife of any river system in the world and includes Elephant, Lion, Buffalo, Hippo, Crocodile and up to 8 species of antelope and 460 of birds and waterfowl.

This spectacular location ensures that this exciting view into untamed Africa is available from the Lodge and every one of its 16 exclusive Water Villas. Chobe National Park itself is furthermore home to Giraffe, Wild Dog, Leopard, Cheetah, Jackal, Hyena and one of the greatest Zebra migrations after the Masai Mara or Serengeti in Tanzania and Kenya. The 117,000 km2 Chobe National Parks wildlife statistics confirm that it is home to 160,000 Elephants along with some 164 mammal species representing one of the largest concentration of wildlife in Africa. Antelope species include Kudu, Roan, Sable, Lechwe, Waterbuck, Eland, Puku, Gemsbok, Springbok, Klipspringer, Impala and the occasional rare Sitatunga. This location at the confluence of the legendary Chobe and the mighty Zambezi Rivers is where the borders of Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe meet.

Here in Africa keen fishing enthusiasts will be challenged by the greatest of all fresh water fighting fish, the powerful and energetic Tiger Fish along with Nembwe and the delicious Three Spot Bream.

Chobe Water Villas nestles under magnificent shading Acacia trees and exclusively HOSTS a maximum of only 32 guests in its uniquely positioned 16 luxurious Water Villas and in its Lounges, Bar, Restaurant, Infinity Pool, African Boma and Pool Deck.

The arrival experience itself is unique as the only access is by a 15 minute leisurely safari boat transfer from Kasane in Botswana cruising across the Chobe River amongst Hippo and Crocodile. Upon arrival a warm and genuine Namibian welcome awaits you.

Accommodation at Chobe Water Villas:
The 16 x Luxury Water Villas all feature a guaranteed 180 degrees unobstructed view of the Chobe River into the Chobe National Park. Perched on stilts over or at the water`s edge, the Villa`s elevated view includes the Sedudu Island.

These "junior suites" with 85m2 of living space feature an open plan lounge and bedroom area and include a 19m2 front terrace facing the Chobe River with a built-in day-bed and a 12m2 rear terrace facing the natural bush and spectacular sunsets. The generous bathroom features a double vanity and separate bath, shower and toilet. The open-plan bedroom and lounge face the spectacular Chobe view through the floor-to-ceiling glass doors, which fold back completely along the entire width of the Room and onto the front terrace. Each Villa offers a mattress / bed configuration of either an extra-length King or 2 x 3/4 beds.
