Your welcoming host, Alex Read, lives on the property in a separate flat which lends itself to additional security and assistance.
All 3 bedrooms have sumptuous beds topped with crisp duvets and fluffy pillows offering a good night’s rest. The main bedroom has a 45cm smart tv spacious walk-in dressing room and en-suite bathroom while the other 2 bedrooms have plenty of hanging space, adequate packing space and share a bathroom en suite.
You are welcome to make yourself at home in all areas of our home as well as utilize all facilities in the home and front garden. The only area we request you kindly don’t access is the host’s flat and the back garden area Wheelchair access, can be provided, subject to prior arrangement.

- You are
welcome to check-in from 2pm – 10pm.
- Early check-in’s are welcome if we
have not had guests in-house on the day of your arrival.
- Your on-site host, Alex, will welcome you and give you keys, gate remote and
alarm remote on arrival as well as take you on a walk-through of
the home.

- Please arrange a time with Alex to handover the keys + remotes by 10am.

Smoking
- No smoking is permitted in the house

- You are welcome to smoke on the
patio. Kindly put your ash and butts in
the container provided. Please do not empty this container in the
dustbin inside the house. This will be

- We are contracted to Mamba Security who patrol Highway Gardens suburb continuously.
- Beams have been placed for extra precaution.
- Please activate the alarm and ensure all doors are locked before retiring for
the evening.
- Kindly ensure doors are locked and the front gate is closed when leaving the
premises.

Washing
Machine
- You are welcome to make use of the washing machine, but please use the “Sportswear” mode which has a 42 minute wash cycle in order to
conserve water.
- Please provide your own washing powder and fabric softener.
- There is a washing line provided just outside the back door.
Tumble Dryer
- Please do not use this appliance for more than 10 minutes per day.
Dishwasher
- You are welcome to make use of this appliance but please only use it on “Favourite” mode.
Bathrooms and Amenities
- You will be provided with a Bath Sheet/Towel per person on arrival. In an effort to conserve water, we request that you use this towel for as
long as you feel comfortable. Should you
wish us to refresh these, kindly place them in the wash basket
provided in each bathroom.
- There is a hand towel, hand wash + hand cream provided per bathroom. Please do not take these home.
- We supply a bath gel and body lotion per guest. You are welcome to take these home.
- Facecloths are provided. Please could ladies kindly use these to remove make
up before using towels.
Maid Service
- We have a maid service on Tuesdays and Fridays to keep the house clean. Should you prefer complete privacy, please advise us and we will
cancel this service.
- On request, we are happy to arrange a maid service at an additional R450 per
day to assist with washing, ironing and cleaning. Kindly give us sufficient notice to arrange
this service.
Patio
- There is a gas braai which you are welcome to use.
- Please leave the lid of the braai up if you have used it so that we can
arrange to have the grid cleaned.
Boma / Firepit
- This will be prepared for you on request.
Parties and Loud Noise
- No parties are permitted and we kindly request that you turn loud music off
by 11pm.
Pets
- Pets are welcome and restricted to
the front garden.
Flat and Back Garden
- Kindly note that these areas have been allocated to the host and co-owner,
Alex, for his and his 2 dogs personal use.
