Daisy Country Lodge

With magnificent views overlooking the Koppies and Valleys, Daisy Country Lodge is truly an oasis in this semi desert area. Namaqualand is known for its spring flowers, rare succulents, unique indigenous plants, rich history, hospitality, unreal rock formations and the Richtersveld.

We are only one hours drive from the Namibian border and nearly half way between Cape Town, RSA and Windhoek, Namibia. With lots to do and see at Daisy, Springbok and the surrounding areas, this is a destination worth visiting over a few days. Bring the kids for a relaxing break in a farm style environment, where you can take walks in the surrounding Koppies, cycle, ride horses or run freely in the valleys. After a day full of fun and adventure, you can relax at our pool, enjoy a nightcap at the Restaurant or just enjoy the brilliant stars and fresh unpolluted air.

We are situated 4 km outside of Springbok in the heart of Namaqualand on 25 Hectares and Springbok is the biggest town in the northern Namaqualand. It boasts a Spar, Shoprite, 5 fuel stations, all major banks with ATM`S and vehicle repair centres. There are good restaurants available and a well developed tourism infrastructure. This picturesque establishment is wheelchair friendly.

Both in comfort and in luxury and after a day full of fun and adventure you can relax at our pool, enjoy a delicious meal in our a la carte restaurant, and thereafter a nightcap or just enjoy the brilliant stars and fresh unpolluted air. We have eleven rooms all equipped with DSTV, Air conditionrs, Safe, Mini Bar, Panel Heater, Wi-Fi, Emergency lights, Hairdryer and Work Bench.

Pearly Room - Room 1
Two single beds easily converted to a king size bed in a spacious room with en-suite bathroom (both shower and separate bath). Private outside entrance, patio, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite TV), heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 2). This room cannot be converted to a family room.

The Zezi Room - Room 2
King size as well as a bunker bed in a spacious room with en-suite bathroom (shower only). Private outside entrance, patio, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children).

The Lara Room - Room 3
King size bed in a room as well as 2 single beds in an adjacent room with en-suite bathroom (both shower and bath). Private outside entrance, patio, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children).

Bella`s Room - Room 4
The two twin beds in a spacious room with en-suite bathroom (shower only). Beds are easily converted to king size bed. Private outside entrance, private patio, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heater also in bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 2). This room cannot be converted to a family room.

The Ruben Suite - Room 5
This suite is also used as our honeymoon suite. It has a king size bed in a very spacious room with en-suite bathroom (Victorian bath and shower). Open fireplace in the room, private porch, private outside entrance, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. It also has a private braai facility outside.

Merlyn`s Room - Room 6
We also use this unit as the 100 % disabled unit. It has a king size bed in a very spacious room (can be converted to two single beds) with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower). The shower and toilet is adapted to be wheelchair friendly. It also has a private porch and outside entrance, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 2). We can easily bring in a sleeper couch to sleep 2 adults and 2 children.

Rommel`s Cottage - Room 10 - Self Catering Unit
Consist of a room with king-size bed (it can be converted into twin beds). The sitting area has a sleeper couch, chairs and an open plan fully contained kitchen. The bathroom has a shower only. The cottage is situated 500 metres from the guesthouse. It is very private and has its own braai facilities. It has air-conditioning in both the bedroom and sitting room. There are also DSTV (Satellite television), Heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, safe, hair dryer and the bedding is down with high quality white linen. Breakfast is included. (Sleeps 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults).

The Reprive Room - Room 8
The Reprive room (also used as a honeymoon suite) have double interlinking doors to Rommels which will have the advantage that it can convert Rommels into a two bedroom self-catering unit. The room is however very private with a private outside entrance from a porch and has a lovely view over the olive trees. The very spacious room has a king size bed (which can be converted to two single beds) with en-suite bathroom (bath and shower), air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heaters also in bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 2).

Monty`s Room - Room 7
A double bed in a room with en-suite bathroom (shower only). Private outside entrance, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heaters also in the bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet & pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps one). We use this room for the tour guides / drivers.

Echo`s Room - Room 9
This room is situated separately from the guesthouse with the game camp (we have Springbok and Emus in the camp). The room has a lovely view to the North of Daisy over the koppies and valleys. The room has a huge enclosed porch with private parking space and entrance. The spacious room has 2 single beds, which can easily be converted to a king size bed. It has an en-suite bathroom (shower only), air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heater, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities. (Sleeps 2). This room cannot be converted to a family room.

Polka`s Room - Room 11
Also used as a honeymoon suite. The two twin beds in a spacious room with en-suite bathroom and shower. Beds are easily converted to king size bed. Private outside entrance, private patio, air-conditioning, DSTV (Satellite television), Heater also in bathroom, emergency lighting, down duvet and pillows, high quality white linen, stocked bar fridge, safe, hair dryer, coffee making facilities.
