The Lodge is situated at the meeting place of the distinctly different Highveld and Lowveld, with their unique climates, flora and fauna. The Lodge stands alone in this area, at the head of the Nelshoogte Pass, amongst the oldest rock in the World and the site of one of the earliest Gold Rushes and South Africas first Stock Exchange.

Eight luxurious en-suite rooms with large Victorian-style bathrooms. Large suites with dry-stone interior walls, percale linen, king size 4-poster beds, hand picked antique furniture, fireplaces, sherry and nuts, walk-in closet, heated towel rails, fully stocked mini-bars with Dawsons home-made chocolate chip cookies as well as freshly ground coffee.
Slippers on request. No telephone or TV in rooms.
Double doors that open out onto private veranda overlooking mountains and valley. Room service.

Dawsons Game and Trout Lodge reserves the right to retain deposits received if bookings are cancelled within a month of the arrival date. In the event of premature departure, the full extent of confirmed booking will be charged.
Variations are at the sole discretion of management.
Directions:
From Johannesburg take the N12 to Witbank, which joins the N4 and carry on towards Nelspruit. Turn off at Machadodorp (R541) and follow signs to Badplaas. At the T-junction, turn left to Barberton (R38) and the entrance to the lodge is approximately 15.2 km up the road on your left.
