Doornbosch Game Lodge and Guest Houses

Doornbosch Game Lodge and Guest Houses consists of a 5000 ha are with fynbos flowers, game, cattle, sheep, horses and honey hives. We are a fully productive working farm with five luxury guesthouses situated in the fynbos.

There is a big swimming pool for our guests and Pearly Beach, only ten minutes away, has lovely private beaches.

We offer hiking and cycling trails into the fynbos flowers and into the game areas. There are also game drives and horse riding on offer.

We a situated in the middle of the wine farms and close to the sea so you can do wine tours or book a whale viewing tour.

At Doornbosch you can relax in the country while staying in luxury accommodation. All of this is only a two hour drive from Cape Town.

The former farmhouse is spacious and states gracious living. Three separate bedrooms with en suite bathrooms offer spectacular views and absolute tranquillity.

Terracotta floor tiles and wooden doors and windows, as well as mouldings and stucco walls are handmade by local craftsmen and showcase the traditional Cape Dutch Style. High standard fixtures and kitchen appliances give a modern touch.

The furniture is an eclectic mix of local antiques and comfortable and colourful European style. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge with freezer, stove, oven, dishwasher and all utilities for a great self-catering stay.

The verandas lead to the lovely outdoor pool and have great vistas of the Fynbos covered hills and vast planes.

Hilltop house is the latest addition to the wonderful self-catering homes on Doornbosch grounds. Built like Cape Dutch mansion with breath taking views and a large private garden, Hilltop boasts luxurious furnishing, absolute privacy and ample space for families or friends.

Three separate bedrooms and two elegant bathrooms offer spectacular views and absolute tranquillity.
The large living room with two sitting areas invites you to lounge in front of the fireplace or to have a private meal in your home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with beautiful tableware, stove, oven, microwave and a dishwasher.
