Dover on Sea Bed & Breakfast, is a beach front gem situated on Cola Beach in the beautiful town of Sedgefield between Knysna and Wilderness.

This resort town offers the bird watcher a treasure trove of varied and beautiful bird species to be found within the different eco-systems in the surrounding area. There are many hiking trails and bird hides established for just that pleasure. At the same time you can marvel at the beautiful and colourful wild flowers and Fynbos.

We are a Bed & Breakfast that gives you that little bit more; beautiful architecture, spectacular views, luxurious comfort and warm hospitality is what greets you when you decide to come and spend time here in our beachfront accommodation. Accommodation at Dover on Sea:

We have sea view suites and some suites overlooking beautiful fynbos dunes, with balconies to step out into the lovely fresh air.

Activities:

The quiet little coastal town of Sedgefield, is surrounded by a magnificent coastal lake system and sandy beaches along the Indian Ocean shoreline. Sedgefield, with its abundant fishing, kayaking, bird-watching, paragliding, surfing and safe swimming areas is the perfect destination for an outdoor, fun-filled family holiday. Besides the natural beauty that surrounds this tranquil village, Sedgefield's Saturday markets showcase the wealth of its talent and organic goods produced by the close-knit farming community.

The Goukamma Nature Reserve close to Sedgefield is a beautiful combination of fresh-water lake and coastal sand dunes that provides more than a couple of walking options such as the Beach Walk of 14 kilometres, the Goukamma to Groenvlei route, the Lake Walk and the Circular route. It helps that during whale season there is a good chance of spotting them here.
