Erinvale Golf Course is Gary Player designed golf course and was selected as the venue for the 1996 World Cup of Golf, the only South African course ever to have been so honoured. Situated at the foot of the Hottenstots Holland and Helderberg Mountains in Somerset West, this is one of the best and most beautiful golf courses in South Africa. This Gary Player design is a course of two separate and contrasting nine holes. The front nine meanders through flat parkland terrain and the many houses on this part of the estate, while the back nine climbs drastically up the mountain with views of the coastline from the top holes. There is a lot of water and some unusual pothole sand traps.

Other Golf Clubs as Somerset West, Strand, De Zalze, Stellenbosch, Helderberg are nearby.

Buffalo is a large, two-storey apartment especially suitable for families. The lower level features a private twin bedroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, and living and dining rooms. Two alcoves under the thatch upstairs each have two twin beds.

Elephant is a comfortable double room within the main house. It has two twin beds that can be made up as a king, and a separate bathroom with large tub, shower, bidet and double basins. There is a dinette with fridge, kettle, coffee maker.

Leopard Room
Leopard is a romantic double bedroom on the upper level under an exposed thatch roof. This comfortable room has two twin beds that can be made up as a king, and a separate bathroom with shower and a double basin.

Lion Room
Lion is our only single room and is a self-contained little cottage. Besides the separate bedroom and bathroom with shower, it has a dinette with fridge, kettle, coffee maker and some cutlery and crockery.

Our studio apartment Rhino is a large and elegant room. The open-plan has two twin beds that can be made up as a king. There are eating and living areas as well as a fully equipped kitchenette with a two-plate hob, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee maker.

Zebra
Zebra is a room in the main house with a private detached bathroom with a shower. Ideal for short stays and a lower price.

Cancellation Policy:

- In the event of the reservation being cancelled more than 50 days in advance, 50 % of the total fee will be charged.
- If cancelled less than 50 days prior to arrival or no show or depart earlier than anticipated you will be liable for 100 % of the accommodation cost.

Directions:

From the airport take the N2 towards Somerset West up to exit 43 Somerset West.
Then turn left into the R44 direction Stellenbosch.
After approximately 800 meters, at the traffic light turn right into the Main Road of Somerset West.
After 2 km at the intersection turn left into M 168/Lourensford Road.
After 600 meters in the rotary traffic turn 1st left into Parel Vallei Road and drive up to the next stop sign.
Go over Irene Road straight up to Parel Vallei Road (tall trees on both sides of the road).
After 500 meters approximately, turn right to our Guesthouse EASY FIVE, Parel Vallei Road 56 Thatch House at La Piazza.
