From Port Elizabeth:
- Drive through Knysna Town staying on the N2. The last set of traffic lights at the end of town is a T Junction with the railway line and lagoon on your left hand side.
- Drive straight on along the lagoon front and past the craft market on your left. 50m after the craft market is a sign to the right called Welbedacht Lane.
- From Welbedacht Lane, turn left into Welbedacht Lane and continue straight along this road until you get to a turn off on the left hand side called Cherry Lane. (It is the first street left)
- Turn left into Cherry Lane and continue up the road to a T junction. At the T junction you will see a sign that says "Elephant Hide Lodge".
- Follow the sign left until you encounter another sign 20m past the first sign, pointing right. Go straight up this road and you will drive into the lodge.
