Welcome to our working farms set near Fouriesburg on the border of the Free State and Lesotho in South Africa. These working farms offer breathtaking scenery and the chance to truly escape from civilization.

Fairview Estates offers you three different accommodation options: Twin Towers, De Rust Farm Cottage and the Damn Caravan. All rooms have electric blankets and oil heaters. Crisp white percale linen. De Rust Farm Cottage has a Dover fireplace. The Damn Caravan however operates on gas and parafine lamps only, but has a small black stove for heating purposes, and beds have hot water bottles.

You will have 4000 hectares to explore on your own-no organised activities-lovely facility for walking and mountain biking.

Area Info:

Fairview Estates is situated between Clarens and Fouriesburg in the Eastern Free State on the border of Lesotho. This is farm accommodation and you will travel 18km on a farm road before you reach the farm. The farm is from the tar road 5km from Fouriesburg and 27km from Clarens.

Attractions:

We farm with Bonsmara Cattle, plant maize and beans as well as with interesting Alpacas..

Damn Caravan

The Damn Caravan consists of three bedrooms: 1 double room and two single rooms. Converted mobile home. Gas shower, gas stove, gas fridge/freezer-no electricity. LED portable lights and candles. Situated on a farm dam with mountain views.

De Rust Farm Cottage

The De Rust Farm Cottage is our most private and secluded accommodation option, lovely views onto the Maluti mountains.Diff lock required.Consists of 4 bedrooms.Two bedrooms have queen beds,third bedroom two singles and fourth has singles/two double beds.

Twin Towers

The Twin Towers consist of three bedrooms, 2 double rooms and one room with two double beds or 2sets of bunk beds(ideally for children). Entertainment area with Weber and portable stainless steel braai, and Open fire pit.

Fairview Estates is situated between Fouriesburg and Clarens on the S325. From Bethlehem take the Fouriesburg/Ficksburg road and then turn left on the Clarens road the R711, carry on for plus minus 5km and then turn left on the S325. Continue on this farm road for plus minus 18km until you reach the farm Fairview Estates-we are the very last farm in this valley
