Flamingo Lodge is one of Umhlanga Rocks` most distinctive guest lodges with five tastefully decorated en-suite rooms opening out unto private patio`s.

Each individual suite is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, TV`s with M-Net, CSN and Satellite, and ducted aircon.

Flamingo Lodge is situated 30 minutes North of Durban international airport and only a 10 minute drive to Durban City centre, 2 minutes walk to main protected bathing beach and within walking distance to all pubs, restaurants, shopping centres and the vibrant night life.

For the sporting enthusiast we are a stone`s throw away from the Umhlanga Country Club, which offers tennis and bowls facilities. The ski boat club has deep sea fishing trips available on request and scuba diving facilities are also close by, or simply just relax and laze at the swimming pool.

Rooms and Units Available:

Flamingo Lodge have recently upgraded their facilities with the objective to make the lodge more attractive and comfortable for all their guests. The bedrooms have been re-decorated (Click here to view bedrooms) and all carpets have been replaced with beautiful tiles. The bathrooms have all been fully renovated and modernized by installing brand new shower doors.
All the beds have been replaced with modern beds that can be easily converted from 2 single beds to a King size double bed.

All bedrooms' balconies have been renovated with new furniture and fencing to create a private retreat.

There is air conditioning in each room with its own remote control, so that guests can regulate the room temperature.

Tea and coffee making facilities are standard in all rooms.

The upgrading of the lodge is a continuing exercise where our objective is to provide the very best facilities that International visitors should expect when visiting a premier resort (which Umhlanga most certainly is) in a country which has so much to offer it's visitors (which South Africa certainly has).
