The Halyards Hotel & Spa is situated on the Royal Alfred Marina in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape.

The Pooldeck, with swimming pool and jacuzzi, is a lovely space for casual, outdoor dining. The Charthouse Restaurant, that seats up to 220 guests, is reserved for more structured dining, such as the hotel’s traditional Sunday Lunch Buffet, served every Sunday.
Activities include guided boat cruises and spa treatments. Halyards is home to the biggest commercial barge in Port Alfred and surrounds, The Spirit of Adventure. The Spirit of Adventure is also available as a moving venue for private and corporate functions. The River Spa is conveniently situated on-site. They offer a variety of treatments but specialise in massage.

If a guest wishes to cancel his/her reservation, he/she must do so as soon as reasonably possible. A “no show” will result in a 100% cancellation fee.
No verbal cancellations will be accepted. All cancellations must be done in writing and no exceptions in this regard will be allowed.
A cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation less than 48 hours prior to arrival.
A cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation 14 days prior to arrival.
A cancellation fee of 30% of the total booking will be charged if a guest cancels his/her reservation 30 days prior to arrival.
The above cancellation penalties will also apply should there be a reduction in room numbers.
