All guests are treated to a personally prepared breakfast as they watch the early morning golfers making their way to the nearby green. Breakfast can be enjoyed either overlooking the golf course or outside on the pool terrace. During our winter months, guests can enjoy walks along our unique 12 kilometre Cliff Path where sightings of a mother whale and her new-born calf coming within meters of the rocky shoreline will take their breath away. Late afternoons can be spent in our comfortable lounge with its inviting open fireplace as you watch the shadows lengthen on the fairway.

Hermanus Lodge on the Green overlooks the 25th green of the popular Hermanus Golf Course, is a mere 25 minutes drive from the Arabella Championship Course and 30 minutes from the challenging 9-hole Kleinmond Golf Course.
The recently upgraded and re-designed Hermanus Golf Course is a challenging 27 hole course and is rated by Golf Digest in the top 50 courses in SA. The new course design is visually stimulating by making full use of the scenic mountain and coastal landscapes, making it a `Must Play` course when visiting the Overberg.

· From Cape Town International Airport, follow the N2 (east) in the direction of Somerset West.
· Proceed along the N2 all the way over Sir Lowry’s Pass, through the Elgin/Grabouw area and down Houwhoek Pass.
· At the bottom of Houwhoek Pass you will encounter the Hermanus / Botriver / R43 turnoff to the left.
· Take this turnoff and continue along the R43 all the way to Hermanus.
· When entering Hermanus, turn left at the first traffic circle, into Royal Street
· Follow the road (Royal Street) until you reach the next traffic circle where you will turn left into Lord Roberts Road.
· Proceed straight along this road until the road ends in a T-junction. Turn right and follow this road until it ends in a T-junction.
· Turn left into Fairways Avenue where the road will make a bend to the right.
You will find Hermanus Lodge on the Green on the the right-hand side where you will be greeted by 2 baboon figures on the wall.
