Situated on 23 hectares of rolling countryside in the tourism supply zone for the World Heritage Site, The Cradle of Humankind, Hills and Dales Accommodation is a relaxed, country and home style venue boasting beautiful gardens, lovely scenery and ambiance as well as abounding birdlife.
Our mission is to cater for each individual guests requirements from peaceful getaways for couples and families, to school reunions, farmers groups, golf tours, 21st and other birthday parties, team building events, relaxed business meetings and paintball in the natural terrain. The property is adjacent to the Lanseria Airport providing a peaceful getaway 40 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the environs of Johannesburg and Sandton, or, a close stopover to the Airport for travelers.
We offer a variety of unique accommodation units. The Dabchick and Swallow, which are cosy units that overlook the river and are suitable for couples. The Starling and Hadeda overlook the river and are spacious, comfortable, two bedroom apartments. These are suitable for families or a couple of friends. The Fish Eagle Lodge is a lovely two bedroom chalet. A fireplace is situated in the lounge, which heats up the unit in the winter months. The four double Guinea Fowl Rooms are suitable for couples, or, for single travelers and these rooms also feature aircon. Jabulani and Hlala Lapha are our two Venues, which are used for parties, relaxed conferences, team building and guests relaxing at the pool and more.
Units are all self-catering, however, should meals be required there is a menu in each unit. We are not a hotel, restaurant or supermarket, so, guests should let us know prior to arrival should meals be required. Our meals are fresh and tasty and we have received excellent meal reviews from guests. We stock convenience items for guests such as drinks, bottled water, chips, braai meat, steri milk and the like. Each unit is provided with towels, linen and soaps, along with cutlery, crockery and glasses. There is a fridge, stove, microwave, toaster and kettle in the units except for the Guinea Fowl Rooms, which do not have a stove but an electric frying pan. Each unit has fans, hot blankets and heaters, except for the Fish Eagle Lodge, which has a fireplace and the Guinea Fowl Rooms, which have aircon. All Units have a place to braai.
Hills and Dales Accommodation is located in an area that teams with all sorts of activities, which the guest can visit such as the Lion Park, Rhino and Lion Park, Sterkfontein Caves, Maropeng, Wonder Caves, Hartbeespoort Dam – Zoo and Cable car to the top of the mountain. Should you wish to eat out there is the Culinary Table, Wiesenhof Restaurant situated in the Lanseria Terminal and the Fat Olive.

Hair and body wash in the showers and hand and body lotion and hand wash in the bathrooms.
Solar back up for Eskom outages, which covers lights, TV and WiFi only until Eskom is restored.
One bedroom unit with bay window overlooking the river, queen bed, ensuite shower & toilet, fully stocked kitchenette/dining/lounge area with DSTV, covered verandah with brazier/braai. Small fenced off garden area. Fans, heaters, hot blankets, extra blankets, complimentary coffee/tea tray, ironing board, iron, hairdryer and wifi are available in the unit. Small deck chairs and pool towels are in the Unit cupboard.
