Established in 1993, the Honnehokke Self Catering Chalets has been pointed out by various magazines as the most friendly holiday establishment on the Namaqualand, West Coast.
It is a tranquil oasis for those tired of the huzzle and buzzle of city life. Relax with a book from our extensive library, or enjoy a sun-downer next to the undercover swimming pool.
We also now offer a gym, pool table, foosball, table tennis, boules, volley ball.
We welcome your socialized pets, as we know you love yours as much as we love ours.
We pride ourselves with the fact that we have the only swimming pool in town where our guests (those not brave enough to face the cold waters of the ocean) can cool down.
Meals for groups of six or more are catered for, but booking prior to arrival essential. All our meals are made with loving care. Attie will show you the best fishing spots, crayfish diving holes and how to harvest your own seafood from the rocks. Should you need help in preparing them, we`re there to help.
Accommodation at Honnehokke Self Catering Chalets: Our chalets are homely, comfortable, clean, and fully-equipped. We can accommodate one to six guests at affordable prices. Each chalet has a private braai area. All our chalets have en-suite bathrooms in the main bedrooms, no need to venture outside in the middle of the night.
Our cottages, know as Kennels, in true Hondeklipbaai style, have been renovated in March 2013. They are comfortable and equipped with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, kettle and all cutlery and crockery. Should you need anything more, we are eager to help. Bedding and towels are provided.
Our rooms are clean and neat. It has been furnished and equipped to provide in your every day needs.
Activities:
Fishing, Cray fish diving, hiking, cycling are all activities that could keep you occupied. Make use of our gym, table tennis, pool table, foosball, volley ball, boules.... But, Hondeklipbaai is the place to come if you would like to relax and wind down.
Clothing and Accessories:
The night might get cold, so make sure to bring a jacket (even in summer).
Health and Climate:
Please bring all and any medication you might need. We have a clinic, but no medical doctor in town.Don't drink the tap water.

- If cancelled: 0 to 7 days prior to arrival, forfeit 100% of deposit; - 8 to 14 days prior to arrival, forfeit 100% of deposit; - 15 to 21 days prior to arrival, forfeit 100% of deposit; - 21+ days prior to arrival, forfeit 100% of deposit. - In the event of premature departure or no show, you will be charged for the full original booking.
