Bethlehem is a city located in the Thabo Mofutsanyana region of the Free State Province in South Africa. It was established in 1864 on a farm named Pretoriuskloof and situated in the valleys of the Maluti Mountains. The name Bethlehem is derived from the Hebrew expression “Beit Lechem” meaning “house of bread”. This is an appropriate name for the commercial centre of the region as well as the main centre for wheat research. * Parking: We offer one secure parking per room without charge. Visitors arriving with trailers or more than one vehicle should enquire about the availability of additional parking space beforehand.
* Visitors: Hoogland Guesthouse offers an ample reception area. No visitors are allowed in the rooms.
* Smokers: We regret that smoking areas are limited to the patio. No smoking permitted indoors.
* Laundry: Please discuss your requirements with management. We do not allow our staff to assist visitors in exchange for a fee.
