The South Beach Resort is situated at Mjimwema, along the South Coast of Dar es Salaam, 8 km from the Kigamboni East Ferry Terminal.
The Resort is easily accessible through the Kigamboni Ferry, situated at the mouth of the Dar es Salaam Harbour. The Ministry of Works operates a reliable ferry service between 05.00 hrs and 01.00 hrs daily, including Sundays and Public Holidays, for nominal charges. Limited service is available between 01.00 hrs and 05.00 hrs.
A new Tarmac road links the East Ferry Point to Mjimwema and beyond. The Resort is situated off this road 1 km down which is the first left after the second major speed bump (earmarked by speed breakers). This is a rough road flanked by shops on either side, 8 km from the East Ferry Point.
