Journey`s Inn Africa Guest Lodge is a charming little lodge situated in the quaint upmarket suburb of Glen Marais in Kempton Park. We are only a 10-minute drive from Johannesburg`s O R Tambo International Airport.
We have 9 in-suite rooms of which 3 are family rooms (4 and 6 bed). The rooms have flat screen televisions with DSTV and all the rooms lead out into our beautiful gardens. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We offer free off the street parking, a sparkling pool and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the lodge.
We also offer an airport “meet and greet service”, as well as transfers to and from the airport.

To avoid any confusion on your arrival, please take note of the following information:
Payments for all extras (breakfast, lunch, dinner, beverages, laundry ect) can be paid via credit card, debit card, or cash payment.
Our check-in times are between 14h00 and 21h30.
No consumption of your own alcohol on our premises are allowed, as we have an honesty bar available with a large selection with very reasonable priced drinks.
Unfortunately, for security reasons we cannot allow any guests visitors on our premises unless prior arrangements are made with management.
In order to respect all lodgers, we do not tolerate any form of loud noise on our premises.
New arrivals can check into their rooms from 14h00, guests may arrive earlier and leave their luggage at reception, but access to rooms will normally not be granted until after 14h00 to allow for cleaning.
Late check-in after our closing time at 21h30 is not possible unless special arrangements have been made with us in advance. Check-in after 21h30 is only possible if you arriving with either your own vehicle or our transfer service. Arriving with a taxi / uber after 21h30 is not possible due to security concerns. Please also note that you will forfeit your reservation and no refund given if arriving after 21h30 without prior arrangements.
Early check-in before 14h00 / late check-out after 10h00 can be pre-arranged, but please take note that this service is subject to a surcharge. Departing guests must remove all their belongings from their room by 10h00.
If you need to store your luggage on the day of your departure, please arrange it with reception. We offer free luggage storage until 17h00.

Directions from O.R. Tambo International Airport
Make your way from O R Tambo International Airport onto the R21 and drive towards Pretoria or from the Pretoria direction you drive towards Johannesburg. Take the Benoni / Kempton Park (R23) off-ramp, turn left at the top of the off-ramp from airport direction or turn right at the top of the off-ramp from Pretoria direction and then drive towards Kempton Park. At the next set of traffic-lights you turn left onto Monument Road / Kempton Park. Drive ± 3 km, passing the dairy farm and Harvest Place Mall on the right, as well as crop fields on the left. At the first traffic-circle you take the first exit and then take the second exit at the next traffic-circle. You will then see straight ahead of you the security boom entrance to our gated community. Ask the security guard for directions or turn left onto De Bruin Street at the first stop street. Drive 4 blocks up De Bruin Street until you see an open field on your right. Here you turn right into Gwarrie Road, we are the first house on your left - Journey’s Inn Africa Guest Lodge, 20 Gwarrie Road, Glen Marais.
