KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris is nestled at the foot of the Lebombo Mountain range, in the heart of the Lowveld, and offers different types of accommodation in a valley abounding in wildlife.
The luxurious chalets are situated 1 km from the main camp with tranquil surroundings and roaming plains game, and they are furnished with comfortable twin beds and full en-suite bathrooms. A kitchenette with a fridge, a microwave and tea and coffee facilities are available in each chalet. Guests can cool down in the swimming pool, enjoy a meal at the restaurant, and facilities for conferences, team building and bonding outings are available.
In Room Facilities:
The air-conditioned, open-plan chalets can accommodate between 2 to 4 people, and they are furnished with double beds or single beds. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a bath, and a toilet, and some of the units are accessed by stairs. The kitchenettes are equipped with microwaves, fridges, and tea and coffee stations.
Establishment Facilities:
KaMsholo Bushveld Safaris offers an inviting swimming pool, a restaurant, braai facilities as well as parking for guests to use. Facilities are also available for conferences, team building and bonding outings.
The most recent addition to Big Game Parks stable, KaMsholo is a nature-rich 700ha reserve, dominated by the Umbrella Tree with a surprising species list which includes giraffe, reedbuck, waterbuck, and ostrich.

Each of the 8 comfortable thatched huts in the Rest Camp is named after one of Eswatini’s famous Game Rangers and provides insight into the enormous challenges these great men have faced and the bravery they have displayed to enable Big Game Parks to achieve all that it has today, for Nature conservation and for their country.
Ideal for 2, the air-conditioned, open-plan chalet is comfortably furnished with double or single beds, and has a bath, shower and toilet en-suite. The kitchenette is equipped with a microwave, a fridge, and a tea and coffee station.
Directions From Johannesburg:
- KaMsholo is easily accessible from Johannesburg via the Oshoek border post. Approximately a 5 hour drive from JHB. Head north on the N12 highway past Witbank and Middelburg. Pass the Alzu Garage on your right (nice place to stop to refresh) travel on for another 10km and turn right to Carolina. Travel straight through Carolina, take first right towards Oshoek Border after railway line. At T-Junction turn left towards Oshoek Border, travel for approximately 68km. Once through Border travel towards Big Bend, through Manzini. Border vehicle fees: ZAR50 per vehicle.
Directions From Durban:
- KaMsholo is easily accessible from KwaZulu Natal via the Golela border
post. KaMsholo is approximately 37 kilometers on the MR8 route on the
right hand side of the road and is quite clearly marked.
- From Durban, take the main N2 highway north to Zululand, past Mkuze and approximately 20km before Pongola, take the road to the right signposted to Golela, the border post into Eswatini.
Children under 3 years are Free of Charge
Children under 13 years pay 50% of the adult per person sharing rate.
