The Victorian Charm of the Historical Knysna Manor House guest house can be seen as soon as soon as
one sets eyes on this 100-year-old B&B. From the original yellowwood
floors, to the character of each individual room, the Victorian theme is
carried throughout our enchanting B&B.
Our Bed and Breakfast consists of thirteen en-suite rooms
that are lovingly furnished and equipped with all the comforts that you would
expect at home.
There are three different levels, the top floor - consisting
of four en-suite rooms, the main floor - consisting of the lounge, dining room,
reception and another four en-suite rooms, and lastly the back entrance level,
that has another five en-suite rooms
The wooden deck is a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the
magnificence of Knysna. Enjoy your breakfast on beautiful warm morning or
alternatively sip on afternoon sundowners and watch glorious sunsets from this
prime position overlooking Knysna.
In our homely dining room you can enjoy a scrumptious full
English breakfast and if you don’t feel like eating out, or are sick of
restaurant food, you may enjoy a braai at our secluded entertainment area.
Braai packs, salads, charcoal, cutlery, and crockery can be pre-arranged with Mandy
(please ensure you give ample notice).
Secure parking is situated at the back of the B&B. Guests
have direct access from the back of the house and parking area.
We can assist with a shuttle service to arrange trips to the
any of the magnificent golf clubs on the Garden Route or to show you the
enchanting sights of Knysna and the surrounds of the Garden Route.

attractions and will enthrall you with his ever-growing knowledge of the history
of the Knysna and the Garden Route

High adrenaline experiences can be participated in by bungee jumping off the Bloukrans Bridge, Mountain Biking or participating in a canopy tour
Knysna lies in the heart of the Garden Route, home to the Famous Knysna Lagoon and Knysna Heads and of course OYSTERS.
For the thrill seeker, the Worlds highest Bungee jump is situated in the Tsitsikamma Forests. Experience every emotion whilst plunging 219m off the Bloukrans Bridge. For the adventurer that is not prepared to jump, why not try gliding 30 metres above the forest on a Canopy Tour.
The Garden Route is ideal for Mountain Biking fanatics, with organised Forest Tours.
Knysna and the Garden Route is a paradise for Golfers with Knysna being home to the Jack Nicklaus Simola Golf Estate, Pezula Golf Estate and Knysna Golf Club. Further afield you will find the Ernie Else designed Oubaai, Course, Pinnacle Point, Goose Valley and of course Fancourt.
A relaxing boat ride across the Knysna Lagoon is a great way to watch the sunset, or you can go on a tour to the Famous Featherbed Estate. For water sports fanatics, why not try skiing or kite surfing.
Although Knysna does not have any swimming beaches, they are only a 10 minutes car ride away.
Local craft and curio shops in Knysna are a mere two-minute walk from our guesthouse, as are the local pubs and restaurants. Knysna Waterfront boasts many exclusive shops and a variety of restaurants.
Each of our double rooms is comfortably furnished with either a King or Queen size bed. Additional blankets and towels are standard extras as are the complimentary tea / coffee-making facilities.
