La Galiniere Guest Cottages provide comfortable and affordable self catering accommodation.

The Cottages are located on a secluded boutique vineyard on the main road into Franschhoek, just a few minutes from the centre of town and within easy walking distance of the town`s attractions, shops and restaurants.

Families are welcome and the cottages have their own swimming pool that the guests are very welcome to use. Grocery shopping can be arranged upon request and with an additional charge. Please note that the farm has 3 German Shepherd dogs.

Cabernet Sauvignon vines are grown on half the farm. Although, not made on the farm, the grapes are harvested, made into wine, bottled and returned to us. A complimentary bottle is provided with every booking.

Accommodation at La Galiniere Guest Cottages:
Pinotage Cottage has two bedrooms (twin or king size beds), shower room (shower, hand basin, toilet), and living/dining room (2 sofas, TV with DSTV, coffee table, dining table with four chairs) with kitchenette. Can sleep up to 4 adults.

Merlot Cottage has two bedrooms (twin or king size beds), bathroom (shower over bath, hand basin, toilet), well-equipped kitchen and comfortable living/dining room (2 sofas, TV with DSTV, coffee table, dining table with four chairs).

All cottages provide microwaves, an electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, heating and cooling fans, tea/coffee, linen and towels and complimentary toiletries.

Activities:

Franschhoek is renowned for its Wine Farms, exceptional restaurants and stunning valley environment. The valley provides great opportunities for cycling, horse riding, trekking, bird watching and wine tasting.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made more than 7 days from the date of arrival will receive 100% of their deposit (less any bank or administrative charges). A minimum cancellation fee of R50 applies.
Cancellations made within 7 days of anticipated arrival will lose the 50% deposit paid.
No shows result in loss of deposit.

Directions:

La Galiniere Guest Cottages are located on the main R45 road into Franschhoek (if approaching from Paarl or Stellenbosch). After passing Grande Provence, Franschhoek Country House and Allora Italian Restaurant, La Galiniere is the next property on the right hand side - opposite La Petit Provence Estate. The entrance is slightly concealed by a tall hedge.
