Ledges Retreat Guest Farm is a peaceful guest farm in the Northern Drakensberg, conveniently located close to the Royal Natal National Park - home of the Tugela Falls and the Drakensberg Amphitheatre, as well as scenic hiking trails and great fishing spots. The resort itself is situated in a beautiful valley and surrounded by mountains, with stunning views of the Sungubala, Hlolela and Sugar Loaf peaks.

We offer bed and breakfast, as well as self-catering accommodation in a beautiful location that gives you both the space to unwind, as well as a base from which to explore this incredible area.

All Out Adventures is down the road from us, and is a great day out for the family. They offer a zip line, bungee bounce, quad biking, kids zone, coffee shop and more! Tower of Pizza is 8kms away for great pizzas, and the Oak and Ale Pub and Restaurant at Hlalanathi (7kms) has a cozy pub and big screen for sports! You can also play a round of golf at Amphitheatre Golf Course at Hlalanathi, or zip down their newly built super-tube in the summer time!

Out-rides can be booked at the Northern Horse Stables at Montusi, and if you are a keen mountain biker, we are surrounded by 150kms of world class mountain biking trails. And of course, if you prefer you can simply walk along the numerous trails that surround us and enjoy the fresh air and soul-restoring beauty of the countryside.

Please note: As well as breakfast, we can also provide dinner, however advance notice is required. If you would like dinner on your day of arrival, please let us know by 11am on the day you arrive so that we can prepare. If you would like breakfast in the morning, please also let us know.

We also have BBQ facilities at the pool that guests are welcome to make use of, and our chef can assist in preparing side dishes.

Ledges Retreat Guest Farm accommodation:
We have four Bed and Breakfast rooms available (3 of which have been renovated and the fourth is our cozy rondawel that we love as it is!).

Each room has an en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower and towels and soap are provided.

Other facilities in the rooms are:

Rooms are serviced daily and a laundry service is available for a small fee.

Our Farmhouse is our self-catering unit and has also been renovated. It sleeps 5/6 and is very spacious. The house has a large patio with a BBQ and gazebo with patio table and chairs and awesome mountain views!

The house features the following:
- two bedrooms, each with a bathroom en-suite
- fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, fridge, microwave etc)

Newly renovated, spacious four sleeper self catering unit ideal for a family or two couples. Two bedrooms, each with own en-suite bathroom. Fully equipped kitchen, lounge with TV and fireplace, dining area, BBQ area, patio and beautiful mountain views.
