Lethabo Estate in Lanseria is set on the banks of the Crocodile River, centrally positioned very near Lanseria International Airport and a short commute from Pretoria and Johannesburg.

Lethabo Estate accommodation:
We have very different types of award-winning accommodation ranging from R 500 per person sharing bed and breakfast to R 1795 per person sharing, bed and breakfast. We also have self catering or group and family units. We have a mobile Spa available which means, depending on the suite or room you choose, treatments can be enjoyed privately there or next to the river. Please view the attached flyer for details. We offer riverside picnics from 11am to 4.30 pm and evening picnics from 4.30 pm to 9pm. The Boudoir is very gorgeous and luxurious and is in either the Willow Tree or King Fisher River Loft from Sunday to Thursday. The Luxury picnic is also fabulous, cozy and private with a bed, in a comfortable sheltered spot, just no Jacuzzi spa bath and music and movies. The Gourmet Romantic affordable and lovely.just suitable for light rain only! In selected rooms the picnics are included.

We offer gourmet cuisine in our Riverside Restaurant where we offer Farm to Fork dining experiences where you will savour our Heritage seed grown, pesticide-free and free-range fare. You can also book a special private dinner with a private Fire Dancing show. We offer Fire Dancing and Hoop Dance lessons for fun, fishing, Horse Whispering Join Up and Game drives at the nearby Lion and Rhino Park. We have a 30 km Mountain Bike and Hiking Trail and you could bump into a Wildebeest, Zebra, Kudu, ElandBrown Hyena! We are close to many attractions and we are a springboard for all sorts of Cradle adventures.

Your wedding reception and function at Lethabo is a magical, candlelit affair set on the banks of The Crocodile River in a beautiful valley, 35 minutes from Johannesburg and Pretoria.

The Venue is embraced by the rolling blue Magaliesburg foothills in the Crocodile River Reserve, a 15 000 hectare reserve bordering The Cradle of Humankind. The elegantly rustic interior blends seamlessly onto wooden decks stretching over the river where you can relax with champagne after the ceremony and appreciate the abundant bird life and breathtaking mountain and bushveld views. It is a perfect venue for as few as 2 and as many as 120 guests, intimate, private and stunning. You can exchange your vows under the willows next to an open stretch of water on which cormorants and black duck vie for position, under our vaulted, thatched, cathedral like roof or on the spacious deck of our reception venue overlooking magnificent river and bushveld views. Here guests can relax with champagne after the wedding ceremony and appreciate the abundant bird life, while you are photographed against stunning river and bush veld vistas. Included in the venue hire are our beautiful table settings, French cut, red, white wine glasses and champagne flutes, damask linen, elegant tableware, vases and candles, in addition to the many candles, candle holders and candelabra types strategically placed to create a fairy tale like atmosphere.

At Lethabo we are flexible and able to suit your unique wedding venue requirements, from large, flamboyant celebrations to small intimate and private wedding receptions. We can accommodate 38 guests in our accommodation ranging from ultra romantic to stylish and comfortable yet affordable. We partner with our neighbours to offer further accommodation if required.

For larger weddings, the venue is private and exclusively yours for your wedding reception with guests of forty guests or more at the full venue hire rate. This means you can till midnight at the full venue hire fee. We offer you beautiful, romantic Otters Hide Suite for your first night together as a married couple.

We accommodate smaller weddings on the pool deck overlooking the river. or in The Beautiful Eyerie and Rock Pool Lodge, with ambient music, at the partial venue hire fee.

The Food:
Our Wedding Venue Menus start from R 450 per person. At our wedding venue, our food is a carefully chosen delight, masterfully prepared to suit your tastes. We can accommodate you with cocktail party menus, tapas, buffet or plated menus. These are customized to suit your style and tastes. We are flexible and are happy to custom design menus to suit you. Wedding Venue Service Staff. Waiters are charged per hour. The cost is R 8 per hour per guest for an average of 7 hours from start of wedding to clearing of the last course. The waiters are outsourced from reputable suppliers. They are well trained and very well turned out.

We are flexible regarding bar arrangements. We allow corkage at R 65 per bottle. You can offer your guests anything from a full tab to full cash bar with corkage.
