With fourteen comfortable rooms on offer, Life on 3rd can accommodate almost any need, whether it be an individual traveler, a couple or a group.
Accommodation includes a continental breakfast (served daily from 7.00 am to 9.00 am in our communal dining room) and the guesthouse boasts an outside deck to soak up the African sun.

The Single Budget Room: A small but comfortable room located upstairs with a 3/4 bed and small in-room bathroom. Perfect for the overnight business traveler or tourist on a tight budget. Facilities include free WiFi and satellite television. Full English breakfast is included. Room size 3.5m x 3m.
The Double Budget Room: A compact room with a good sized bathroom. Perfect for the single travller, it comes with a comfortable double bed. Free WiFi and television Satellite is included as well as the Full English breakfast. Room size: 3m x 3m.
The Europa Compact Room: The Europa Compact Room is a compact room with a double bed and en-suite bathroom. The room is upstairs with a lovely view. Room size: 4m x 3m . Facilities include free WiFi and satellite television, Full English breakfast is included.
The Europa Room: The Europa rooms are situated facing the courtyard with large sliding doors. They are medium sized rooms, each with a queen size bed and one with a small working desk. These rooms are very popular and also have free WiFi and satellite television. Both of our Europa Rooms have small bathrooms with showers. Room size: 4m x 3.5m. Our famous Full English breakfast is included.
The Standard Room: Our two Standard Rooms are spacious and quite lovely. Queen size beds, desks, large bathrooms (one with a bath and one with shower) and steel pressed ceilings. Room size: 4m x 3.5m and 4m x 4.5m. These rooms have WiFi and satellite television. One of our standard rooms is situated on the courtyard. Full Breakfast is included.

The Standard Family Room: Perfect for small families, with two double beds and an en suite bathroom. The room is based in the old house, offering more privacy and comfort. The room comes with Wifi, Satellite television, a bar fridge and microwave. Room size: 6m x 5m. Breakfast is included.
The Family Room: This room is larger than the others. It has two queen beds as well as a single bed and a suitably large bathroom. The Family room is in the Main house (the smell of breakfast cooking and coffee brewing will lure you downstairs). The room has WiFi, Satellite television, a bar fridge and microwave. Room size: 7.5m x 5m.
The Loft Room: These two rooms are regarded as a suite. They are situated at the top of our cool industrial wrought iron staircase overlooking the courtyard and are suitable for family or friends sharing a bathroom . These rooms have a view of the trees. Both rooms have queen size beds and a sleeper couch . Rooms are equipped with a bar fridge and microwave. Room size: Each room is 3.5m x 3.5m, Bathroom size 3m x 3.5m. WiFi, Satellite television and Full English breakfast included. These rooms have good views.

From the top of Melville on Main Road down towards Beyers Naude, turn right into 8th Avenue at the antique shop on the corner. As you go up 8th Avenue, 3rd street is the first road to cross 8th Avenue. We are on the right hand corner with the red door.
