Marula Cottage Guest Lodge is a new Guest Lodge situated on the mountain side just 4 km from Thabazimbi. This quiet retreat will suite both the business folk looking to unwind, as well as visitors to all the local attractions who just enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush.
Sit at the pool with the stunning views of the Kraansberg and Marakele Mountains, while listening to the chorus of the birds.
Within easy reach of both, the town and visitor attractions such as Marakele National Park, Predator Centre and a golf course. Marula Cottage is ideal for our business clients as well as people looking for a peaceful break in the African, Malaria free, bush.
Eco based, FGASA guided, tours to nearby Marakele National Park, Pilansberg and other local attractions are offered. We are a small family run guest lodge who pride ourselves in our attention to comfort, detail and hospitality. All our rooms have views to the mountains and our bird filled garden. We offer great food, including lunch and dinner. We hope you come as guests and leave as friends.
Accommodation at Marula Cottage Guest Lodge:
We have 3 rooms in our cottage, all have views of the garden and the mountains. Sit on your porch and enjoy the spectacular sunrise.
Baobab suite, has a bedroom, with kingsize bed, a lounge, which has a sofa bed, a walk in cupboard and en suite full bathroom. The suite is equipped with air conditioner, fridge and tea/coffee station. It also has a private deck.
Bush Daisy is a comfortable double with en suite bathroom, aircon, fridge and tea/coffee station.
Kalahari Sun is a twin room with en suite bathroom, fridge and tea/coffee station.
Children under the age of 12 years are not accepted.
Activities:
Feel free to hike our 80 ha of mountainside. See kudu, klipspringer, mountain reedbuck, bushbuck and more in their natural habitat.
Trips to nearby Marakele and Pilansburg with qualified guides can be arranged.
Health and Climate:
The Waterberg is a Malaria free area.

A spacious suite with a king size bed in the main room and a double sofa/bed in the lounge. This suite can sleep up to 4 people. Baoabab has en suite bathroom,a walk in cupboard, aircon,tea/coffee station and a fridge. No Children under 12 years.

- Full refund of deposit 30 days prior to arrival date.
- 50% of deposit refunded if before 7 days prior to arrival date.
Directions:
We are 4km outside of Thabzimbi on the road to Marakele National Park. Look for our signs, we have a small entrance road which will take you the 1.5km to the lodge.
