Matumi Golf Lodge is a 5 Star accredited Bed & Breakfast, situated in the tranquil and secure environment of the Matumi Golf Estate in Nelspruit - your gateway to Mpumalanga South Africa`s province of the rising sun. Just 25 km from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, the Lodge is situated very close to the world renowned Kruger National Park, with the nearest Entrance gate to the park being less than one hour`s drive away.
The area also forms part of The Lowveld Birding Route, which includes the Hazyview, Barberton, Nelspruit and Malelane areas as well as the southern Kruger National Park. As well as being a popular habitat for various species of birds, the golf estate is also home to a small variety of animal inhabitants, ranging from Porcupines to a small entelope known as a Duiker, which roam freely across the rolling fairways of the golf course.
Matumi Golf Lodge is the perfect place for quiet weekend breaks, energetic golf trips or a more luxurious, comfortable setting for the travelling professional. The lodge is ideally positioned midway up the 9th fairway of the Nelspruit Golf course (Home of the annual Jock Open golf tournament) with magnificent views over the golf course and the Crocodile River Valley.

Our bar area provides a warm environment in which to relax around the fire stove on those cold winter evenings, while during warmer weather, watching the sun set over the fairways from the outside patio is the ideal way to end ones day. The pool deck with its commanding views of the Crocodile River Valley and Mpumalangas Lower Escarpment, provides the ideal place to laze away those hot Lowveld summer days.

Our 7 rooms comprise of three different categories, being Deluxe/Luxury Rooms, and the Executive/Honeymoon Suite, each catering for the individual requirements of residing guests. These differences are mainly attributed to bathroom fixtures and fittings, bed types and overall room size. As the different types of rooms vary in price, please confirm which particular type of room would be required when making a reservation.
