Mavela Game Lodge is nestled in the heart of the magnificent Big 5 Manyoni Private Game Reserve, near Mkuze, in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. A unique all-inclusive luxury, safari-style tented bush lodge that affords both local and international travellers intimate encounters with the African bush.

The primary focus of Mavela Game Lodge is to allow guests to experience the diverse beauty of the African bush. Game drives in open land cruisers are twice daily in search of personal encounters with a range of abundant bird and wildlife.
No cancellation penalty will be levied should the guest change their travel dates. Changes must be made at least 7 days before the original travel dates.
Less than 7 days before arrival: 100% cancellation charge.
7 – 30 days before arrival: 50% cancellation charge.
More than 30 days: No cancellation penalty but will be subject to a 10% administration fee which will be deducted from the refundable amount already received.
Reservations may be made by email, through our online booking facilities or through an agent. A pro forma invoice will be sent out once guests have advised of their firm intention to make a reservation, their dates and number of guests. Reservations will be confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit within 72 hours after submission of the pro forma invoice. Banking details are reflected on this invoice. Final payment to be made 30 days prior to arrival. Last minute bookings need full payment to confirm a reservation. Specials may apply for a 2 night consecutive stay. Rates are subject to change at the discretion of the Mavela management.
