The old fashioned bathtub in Suite 10 really works and is placed in such a way that you can relax in the tub while watching TV. The unit has an en-suite shower and toilet as well.

Memory Lane is situated on the Africa Silks Farm. Visitors can go on daily tours at minimal cost to see exactly how a silk worm farm works. It is the only commercial silk farm in Africa.

Memory Lane suites are situated on the Africa Silks Farm just outside Graskop. It consists of seven self-catering units, each with its own bathroom (shower and toilet), kitchenette, DSTV and private door leading to the old Farmhouse stoep.
The original house is 120 years old and was once the stately home of the original residents of the farm Modderspruit. The Memory Lane Suites have views on the gardens and is within walking distance of the Deck Restaurant and playroom.
At Memory Lane we have combined old world charm with all the luxuries of modern day living. While all the units are private and functions separately, the whole of Memory Lane can also be booked for a larger group or family gathering, in which case you will gain access to the Farmhouse kitchen with its 5-plate gas stove, an extra lounge and the back patio with a braai area.
Accommodation at Memory Lane: Memory Lane Suite 9 has two single beds, a cozy fireplace, a flat screen television, shower, toilet and kitchenette consisting of a fridge/freezer, microwave oven and induction plate.
Memory Lane Suite 10 is a large unit with double basins, an en-suite shower, kitchenette and an old-fashioned bathtub. Situated in such a way, that you can relax in the bath while watching television. This suite is ideal for a couple that wants to rekindle the romance and have some private time.
Memory Lane Suites 11, 12 and 13 all have double beds with kitchenettes and en-suite showers and toilets.
Memory Lane 14 and 15 can be used as a good friends or family unit as the two are interlinked in the hallway. They can also be used separately. Number 14 is an especially large room with two double beds, antique closets, a single bed and double basins.
Activities:
Memory Lane is situated on the Africa Silks Farm and there are daily tours for visitors to see the whole silkworm production process.
A pool table and table tennis are available in the reception area as well as several interesting books for young and old to read.
The farm has a communal swimming pool, trampoline and lapa for late night stories around the camp fire.
The farm's own Deck Restaurant is open 7 days a week from 08:00 to 20:30 serving all day breakfasts and light meals.
A 3 km hiking trail on the farm, takes the visitor on a circle route through the indigenous forest.

Africa Silks Farm is in a Malaria Free area. As we can experience 4 seasons in one day, always have warm and cooler clothes in your luggage. It can be cold in summer and warm in winter.

In the event of premature departure we may charge for the full original booking. Cancellation 0 - 14 days before date of arrival, or no-show – visitor forfeits 100% of DEPOSIT paid. - Cancellation 15 to 28 days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 75% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater). - Cancellation 29+ days before date of arrival – visitor forfeits 50% of deposit paid or 25% of full quote value (whichever greater). - A 15% administration fee will be charged on any refunds made.
