Approximately 1,8 km from the centre of town, Moncrieff Manor is close enough to the fun and excitement of Knysna and her beautiful surroundings while the elegant rooms offer a quiet sanctuary of relaxation and rejuvenation. Kevin and Betsie are available to recommend suitable activities and restaurants and, should you require them to, to assist in making the necessary arrangements.
Transfers to and from George Airport may also be arranged on prior notice. Guests enjoy safe, off-street parking and free WiFi, and all major credit cards are accepted. We regret that Moncrieff Manor is not suitable for children under the age of 12.

Betsie and her team serve a delicious continental and/or English breakfast in the dining area overlooking the incredible view of the Knysna lagoon. This is the perfect meal to wake up to after a relaxing nights rest in your comfortable, yet elegant en suite room.
Moncrieff Manor offers three en suite double rooms on a Bed & Breakfast basis, as well as three en suite double rooms on either a self-catering or B&B basis. The self-catering rooms have interconnected doors and are ideal for friends or families.
Honouring the history of Knysna and recognising the courage and temerity of the early sailors, the recently renovated rooms have been named after ships that dared to sail through the dangerous Knysna Heads and were wrecked in the process. The site Knysna Museums offers interesting stories on these ships and other tales about the port of Knysna.
