Mooinooientjie Beach Cottage peaceful and safe environment 2 hours from Cape Town and 3 kms from Cape LAgulhas, Africas southern most tip.

Well known magnificent, white, sandy beaches. Safe sea for swimming and diving. Famous for its excellent fishing, water sport and breath taking beautiful coast line. Whales, dolphins and seals abound in season. Shells on the beach!

Struisbaai Harbour is one of the most beautiful small old harbours in the world. Mooinooientjie is 100 metres from the beach in a quiet street. You can hear, smell and see the ocean!

Accommodation at Mooinooientjie Beach Cottage:
It has an adequate open plan kitchen with an open plan dining area and a small open plan sitting room. There is 1 x double en suite bedroom with a double and twin bed, plus (interleading) 1 x double and 1 3/4 bedded rooms with shared bathroom. An optional extra double bedroom is available at an extra cost.

It has a walled in, private back garden with a rustic built in BBQ, chairs / table under the shade of large trees. For those who want luxury and satellite television, this is not for you. Those who want privacy, peace, quiet, relaxation and a cool summer break, it may well suit you!

Rates depend on length of stay, number of persons and season. Maximum; 6 persons. (8 persons negotiable).

Inner duvets and pillows are provided. Please bring your own bed linen, bath and beach towels, table/dish cloths.
In season, Christmas and New Year, the minimum stay is 14 days. Out of season 5 day minimum stay.

Sitting Room:
This is a rustic fisherman type cottage, yet it contains all the necessary things to have an enjoyable holiday. Rates depend on length of stay, number of persons and season.

Newly fitted kitchen:
This new kichen is equipped with a 4 plate stove, extractor fan, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle + toaster, under counter lighting and lots of work and cupboard space.

View from the front veranda:
Mooinooientjie is 1 Block from the beach. You can hear, smell and see the ocean! Simon V/d Stel and Vasco Da Gama are very quiet streets, even in high season. We are less than a kilometer from the harbour and shops.

Please note: Out of season a minimum of 5 nights stay is required. Christmas/New Year a 14 day stay or as close to 14 days as possible.
