Morgen Guesthouse is owner run by Patrick and Mieke. Since 2022 Morgen Guesthouse installed a putting green in their backyard where the golf-player can practice and all other guests can take their first steps in this relaxing game. We have invested in sustainable energy and the solar panels deliver most of the electricity used in the Guesthouse. Back-up batteries deliver the necessary power for WiFi and other electrical appliances during power cut offs.
In-Room facilities:
The air-conditioned Apartments, ranging from 55m2 - 65m2 are decorated in a modern African ambience; all have a lounge, a dining area and a very well equipped kitchen including Nespresso coffee machines! Each apartment also has a private patio, with seating for 4 as well as deck chairs. The 2 Studio’s range from 22m2 - 25m2 and are perfectly equipped for Corporate Guests, offering Wi-Fi, Satellite TV, a fully equipped kitchenette including Nespresso coffee machine. All rooms have Samsung Smart TV, as well as Wi-Fi Internet access (fibre). They can be heated via the climate control units, hence our rooms are ideal to stay during winter time. Rooms are serviced daily, with limited service on a Sunday and public holidays.

Morgen Guesthouse is located in one of the premier, safe residential areas of Somerset West, high against the Helderberg Mountain with spectacular views over the mountains, the vineyards and the sea. At night time enjoy the flickering of thousands of lights from Gordon’s Bay and the Strand. During the day discover the many world famous Wine Estates on our doorstep or visit the wonderful variety of restaurants around us or enjoy a round of Golf at the many golf courses in our area.
Visit the W&A Waterfront, Go up Table Mountain or go whale watching in Hermanus (less than an hour away)! Simply relax in our tropical garden and enjoy the abundant bird-life.

Somerset West is known as the Winelands at the Sea or the Golfing Paradise of the Cape. We are surrounded by golf courses (5 min. to Erinvale Golf Course) and Wine Estates (Vergelegen 5 min) as well as excellent restaurants. The Helderberg Nature Reserve is on our doorstep as well as the charming Craft Market on weekends. The historic town of Stellenbosch is less than 15 min. away. Hermanus, the Whale Capital of S.A. is 50 min. away and so is Cape Point. Table Mountain and the W&A Waterfront is 30 min. away.

Senufo Apartment
Offers two single beds converted to a king-size bed. The new bedside lamps have an usb-connector for safe charging of your mobile phone or tablet during the night. The lounge has two tub chairs and a comfortable couch which can be converted to an extra bed for maximum 2 children. The bathroom has a large shower with wonderful views. The kitchen is new from September 2019 and fully equipped with double stove, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, and toaster and all cutlery and crockery for 4 persons.
Senufo Apartment is equipped with air-conditioning which also operates as a heater during the colder nights or wintertime . Our premium apartments have a 32” Samsung Smart television. Feel free to login with your Netflix account or stream your favorite TV-channels from home. Free Wifi of excellent quality (fibre) is included. Senufo has a private terrace at the entrance of the apartment and wonderful views over False Bay through the big windows on the south side. Bella Fang Studio
Offers two single beds converted to a King-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom with large walk-in shower. A small kitchen is installed with a double stove, kettle, roaster, microwave and Nespresso coffee-machine. The in 2019 renovated room is equipped with a dining bar and fully self-catering. This room is one of our 2 studios and offers free Wifi of excellent quality (fibre), satellite television (flatscreen), safe, hairdryer. The air-conditioning can be used as a heater during colder nights or during the winter. The private terrace is accessible via an outside spiral staircase and is overlooking False Bay, the mountains and the vineyards.
This rooms offers a lot of privacy and is ideal for shorter or medium length stays or ideal in combination with one of our premium rooms when you visit us in group.
Ingadi Studio is a 25m² standard room overlooking the new garden and swimming pool. The room has an en-suite bathroom with corner bath and shower. The room is completely renovated in November 2018, the bathroom is refreshed. A new fully self-catering kitchen with dining bar is installed.as well as a small table with mirror to do your hair and make-up or to work on your laptop. A wall mounted 29” television with DSTV - satellite with full hospitality package is standard. Free Wifi of excellent quality (fibre) is included. The aircon keeps your room fresh in the summer and warm during the winter.

From Cape Town International Air Port:
Travel on the N2 in direction Somerset West.
Take the R 44 off ramp (Broadway Boulevard) and turn left at the traffic lights.
At the next intersection (Waterston Village Shoping Centre on left) corner Main Road and R 44, turn right into Main Road.
At the next traffic light +/- 50 meters turn immediately left into Helderberg College Road.
Follow this road all the way up the mountain and cross the 3rd.
Stop sign at Irene Road. Continue straight and turn right into the 2nd road which is John Rumble Rd.
Follow this road down the mountain and turn left into the 2nd. road which is Fraser Road. Morgen Boutique Guesthouse is on the right hand side after the park on the right.
