Guests are accommodated in three Cape Dutch houses that lie cupped in the palm of the Sneeuberg Mountain range. Once homes to generations of settlers, these magnificent homesteads have been sensitively converted into havens of five star luxury.

Mount Cambedoo offers guests twelve spacious double rooms. Each of the manors boasts a full- length swimming pool, communal satellite television, entertainment centers and the rare opportunity to simply relax.

Clothing and Accessories:

Temperatures in the Great Karoo are extreme. Within the homesteads, staff manage the tempratures for your comfort.

Comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, a hat and plenty of sunscreem are required throughout the year. In summer, bring cool comfortable clothes which can be added are removed depending on the temerature. Bring bathing costumes to relax and cool off in the swimming pools!

In winter, we advise warm clothing, fleeces and a jacket for game drives (blankets and ponchos are provided on drives).

A camera and binoculars, if you have will most certainly enhance your stay. The ranger will have a pari on the vehicle which can be shared among all the guests on a drive.

25% of the total reservation value will be charged if a booking is cancelled between 60 - 31 days prior to arrival
50% of the total reservation value will be charged if a booking is cancelled between 30 - 16 days prior to arrival
100% of the total reservation value will be charged if a booking is cancelled between 15 - 0 days prior to arrival
All refunds are subject to a 15% administration fee

Directions:

From Port Elizabeth follow the N2 and then R75 to Uitenhage.
Approaching Uitenhage, follow the R75 to Graaff Reinet.
Continue 140km to Jansenville. 60km after Jansenville, turn RIGHT towards Pearston (signposted Mount Camdeboo). Continue for 7km, and turn LEFT towards Petersberg/Mount Camdeboo.
Follow the gravel road for 27km to Mount Camdeboo, passing through a series of automated gates.
