Moya Safari Villa is about more than just a place to stay. It’s about immersing our guests in the real “spirit of Africa” through everything we do, from our beautiful 100% African decor and the warm embrace of traditional hospitality to our lovingly prepared home cooked cuisine and a range of exciting activities, safaris, tours and day trips. We do safari differently because we believe that every safari is as much about people as it is wildlife. We are deeply committed to the principles of sustainable tourism and to giving you authentic African experiences that benefit both people and planet and show you the true face of Africa.
Moya is more than your average safari destination. Rather than waving you off every morning and afternoon on a game drive, we like to immerse you in authentic African experiences including amazing township and village tours that allow you to become part of a real African landscape and connect with the spirit of Ubuntu and proper exploration of Hoedspruit and its surrounds, delving into the history of this wonderful little town.
A big part of what sets Moya apart is our willingness to involve you in the conversations around wildlife, poaching, conservation and community and the challenges facing all of these in the current climate. Our packages are tailored to offer you a glimpse of the bigger picture and the role you can play in it.
Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate has its own green belt wilderness area where you can explore either on a self-drive game drive, on foot, on a mountain bike or on horseback, if you prefer. It is five minutes from the centre of town, where you can find a range of great restaurants, shops and galleries. The fabled Kruger National Park and breathtaking Panorama Route are on our doorstep.
