Mulberry Lane Suites and Tsanana Log Cabins are situated on the Africa Silk Farm, just 45 km from the Kruger National Park and 26 km from Graskop (R533). Both provide a haven that is worlds away from the maddening crowds of modern life. To ensure that your romantic getaway is all you want from it, children under 16 are not allowed at Mulberry Lane Suites.
Children are, however, allowed at Tsanana Log Cabins.
The suites are nestled amongst the trees and overlook miles of forest from private verandas, from where you can enjoy the tranquility of the lush surroundings where the song of birds replace the noise of traffic. Each of the Luxury Suites are air-conditioned and sleeps two people. Each suite has a private patio with a spa bath and braai area. The suites are serviced daily, and are equipped with cutlery, crockery, bedding and towels and dishcloths. (For winter bookings it is advisable to bring extra blankets.) Fire wood is available at minimal cost, but please bring your own charcoal and fire lighters. This is the perfect romantic getaway.
Our Deck Restaurant is open for breakfast, light lunches and dinner. Guests can, prior to arrival book picnic baskets to be delivered at their suites. An informative guided tour on the Silk Farm will add to your total experience. This can be arranged at reception for a nominal fee. Browsing through our silk showroom is also recommended.
Tsanana Log Cabins
Tsanana Log Cabins are perched above the trees and overlook miles of forest. Each cabin is tastefully furnished and equipped for self-catering. We cater for groups of 2 to 11 people. Two of the cabins are attached and can be booked as a family/good friends unit. All the cabins are air-conditioned. Log Cabin 1 and the Good Friends & Family Cabin have private Jacuzzis, while Log Cabin 4 has a spa bath. Each cabin has a private braai area, but there is also a communal Lapa, swimming pool and a trampoline. Firewood is available at minimal cost, but remember to bring your own firelighters and charcoal.
Take note that the units are log cabins and always a fire hazard. The cabins are strictly no smoking zones. The cabins are not serviced. Please remember to bring your own dish washing liquid and dish cloths, as well as towels, and insect repellent may be a good idea.
To ensure your full enjoyment of the evenings around the campfire, we offer no television sets. Here you can listen to the songs of the birds before the night enfolds you in a blanket of a million stars.
DSTV is available at the Deck Restaurant. We also have a games room where our guests can play pool and table tennis free of charge.

When traveling on the N4 from Gauteng, take the Belfast turnoff and travel via Belfast, Dullstroom, Lydenburg, Pilgrims Rest to Graskop.
Arriving in Graskop, turn right at the first major intersection.
Follow the road down the Kowyns Pass. You will find a turnoff to Hazyview at the bottom of the pass, but continue on the road towards Bushbuckridge.
Exactly 23 km from the intersection in Graskop you will find the turnoff to AFRICA SILKS FARM on your left hand side.
A short dirt road for about 3 km will bring you to the resort.
