During the days, when not taking our tour to Sossusvlei, you can take an easy walk in the absolute solitude of the world’s oldest desert. An early morning rise enables you to enjoy the ever changing pastel colours of the beautiful scenery.
Use the morning hours for an easy climb to the top of one of the adjacent granite hills or a walk in the vicinity. Explore the diverse flora and fauna, where the trees grow seemingly out of stones.
If you are feeling lazy, relax at the pool. As welcoming as the desert is forbidding, Namib Naukluft Lodge is a tranquil oasis where the emphasis is placed on excellent service and your personal comfort.
Later during the day, you might want to join a sundowner-drive to the natural marble mountains of this 13000 ha farm.
In the evenings you may want to relax in the lounge and bar or enjoy a great meal in our comfy open-air restaurant. The added attraction is a stunning view of the fiery desert sunset.
Each of the 16 tastefully furnished rooms offer en suite facilities and a private spacious verandah with a striking view. Relax in the lounge and enjoy a typical sundowner on the main verandah or at the bar. Excellent traditional meals are served in the restaurant, the adjacent verandah or in the boma from the open fire.
