To ensure our guests of our best possible attention we accommodate a maximum of twelve people in six stylish yet homely en-suite thatched chalets that offer comfortability with a difference.
Given a 4-Star rating you’ll find our chalets meet your every need. A laundry service is also available on request.
Meals are a special affair at Nkorho. Filled with vibrancy and a sense of freedom guests can enjoy a hearty breakfast under a thatched deck overlooking an open plain. Dinner is enjoyed around an open fire in a typical leadwood boma under the stars.
Afternoon is relaxation time whilst pondering your mornings experience in the wild.
Facilities
The bar is open from 10h00 every day. The friendly staff member on duty will assist you with any request you may have. We have a good selection of wines, whiskies, spirits and beers.
Cool off from the African sun in our spectacular infinity flow pool or in our unique rock pool. Towels are available for your convenience and we will place deck chairs wherever you would like to sit and relax.
Activities
Game Drives
Game drives start early in the morning, the best time to spot game. Our staff will wake you at least 30 minutes before departure. Come down to the patio and enjoy a cup of coffee and rusks before your drive. There will also be a break on the game drive for tea or coffee.
Afternoon/evening drive times will be discussed with you on checking in. You will stop for sundowner drinks and marvel at the surroundings and it’s magic. On returning to the Lodge, feel free to freshen up and meet at the bar for a pre dinner drink.
Nature Walks
Walks are also included in your experience. Accompanied by your Ranger and depending on the time of the year, a walk is done either before breakfast (summer) or after (winter).
Dress code is busveld casual and lightweight, but a sweater may be required.
During the winter June, July and August warm clothes are necessary during early morning and at night.
A hat, sunscreen, flashlight and binoculars will add pleasure to your stay.
Health - Precautions against malaria are necessary.
Climate - Winter May to Septemer is mild to pleasant during daytime however nights can be cold, warm clothing is recommended.
Summer October to April is hot to very hot with occasional rainfall.
Protection from the sun is necessary.
This room has a queen bed and is en-suite. There is a deck in front of the chalet, from which partial views of the open area in front of the Lodge is available.
From Nelspruit travel on the R40 through White River, Hazyview and Bushbuckridge until you reach Acornhoek.
You will then turn east towards Hluvukani. Please follow the signs marked Nkorho Bush Lodge and Sabi Sands.
